Default Freddy vs Jason 2 coming in 2005

I was watching the E Channel and I saw some Information come out on the bottom of the Screen you know how they post there news that Ronny Yu has signed up to do Freddy vs Jason 2 and it will come out in the fall of 2005.

Now I would Rather see Freddy and Jason go back to what they used to be doing but I wouldn't mind just one more vs. Film.

Yeah i would also like to see them back in their own movies! It would be great if they made one more Nightmare on Elm street movie! I guess we will have to see FVJ 2 for the time being...

A lot of people keep throwing in Ash to the mix. Ronny Yu has said he would like to do it, Sam Raimi mentioned it too. Bruce Campbell said he would do it. Maybe this will happen?

What can they possibly do with a sequel that they didn't already do with the first? They took each character and put them in the other's element, then switched things around, et cetera et cetera. It seems like they got every angle of interaction between the two. Don't get me wrong, I'm in the cheering section for a sequel, I just hope they do something different and cool with it instead of rewarming the first one.

Why do they always hafta make a sequal to everything? Freddy vs. Jason was cool but there is no need for a sequal. I just hope to god they don't throw Ash into the mix.

Yeah, it's pointless to do this twice.

It won't seem as special.

I'll still be hyped to see it, don't get me wrong.
I just think it didn't need a sequel.

Dammit. I want to see Ash. I really, really want to see Ash. And I don't see why not -- the concept of a movie, if you think about it, like Freddy vs. Jason, is total fanboy goofiness anyway, so why the hell should I be deprived of my FvJvA?! All vs. movies are just for the fact that they should be badass and total popcorn movies, and I enjoy a good popcorn movie.

Bring on the battle!

I agree with droid, and I am sure everyone who saw FvJwill be there in the theater to see a FvJvA movie too. All the nay sayers will be bragging about how cool it was after seeing it on open night. You'll see.

I admit i'm gonna go see it cuz I'm a Freddy fan and i enjoyed FVJ but in my opinion there is no need for a sequal.

I mean, I read Harry Knowles' review of FvJ on AICN, and what he said was what I imagined -- a crowd full of horror geeks (as we all are) just going totally nuts over the movie, at midnight, on a sneak preview. The audience factioning themselves out, chanting for their icon and watching the battle rage. I'm sure the little fake-out moment on the dock when Freddy had the machete played about 100 times better there than anywhere else, and hey, that's the audience these movies are made for. If you think it's stupid, don't see it, but don't rain on our parade. For us, these movies are all groovy.

Who's knocking it ?No one hates Freddy VS. Jason .

The fact is this movie does not need a sequel.

And Ash has nothing to do with these guys. What does Freddy & Jason have to do with the Book Of The Dead ?

I'm sure they'll write a good story for it, but Raimi will not be involved so that may hurt it.

Like I said I'll be there with bells on but I won't lose my mind if it doesn't get made.

id love to see a FvJ sequel...sure, it doesnt HAVE to happen, and i wouldnt exactly lose my mind either if they didnt make it, but itd be cool if they did. but if they did throw Ash into the mix, Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash would be a really dumb name. i cant think of a better, but its just..too many "versus".

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Throwing Ash into the mix is quite possibly the most brilliant idea ever. Corny, yes. Hoaky, yes. Gimmicky, sure. But mind-numbingly cool and entertaining? HELL YEAH!

Does anyone have an inventive title for Freddy vs. Ash Vs Jason ?

I know someone has to have something cool, I can't think of anything.

Hmm. I say, Freddy vs. Jason 2 with a subtitle.

This is, of course, the most obvious way to go if you think about it, because both series take a title and add a number and a subtitle in future chapters.

i dont get why ash would be in it, i mean the evil dead movies were cool and ash is a cool charector but why would he be fighting with freddy and jason?

kramer from seinfeld is cool, and so is scarface, should we maybe put them in the movie too?

Yeah they are cool but they aren't classic horror icons, Ash to a certain degree is, He has fought deadites and stuff, pitting his wisecracks against Freddy would be cinematic gold.

i think if the a second one is made they should either add ash and if they don't then they need some more twists in the story
