So, Mitt Romney picks Paul Ryan to be his running mate for President.I guess Romney wanted someone slightly less white than him, but not too ethnic.

He needed an african american or women running mate. The problem I have this year both seem fake. Obama is just better at seeming concerned about people. Romney reminds me of a Rockerfeller or a Kennady . Neither candidate has ran on whats there plans are to create jobs and produce plans to create new energy.
This years storms too me a reminder that Eletric Power is something that can devastate people who are use too modern conviences.

As for a running mate I think I would ask Senator Joe Manchin or Shelley Moore Capito. Someone from my own state and someone who can speek the language of DC. Under a Vader Administration One of my first Bills would be No Senator or Congressman could serve more then 4 years like the president.
Another Bill would be that a full ban on assault guns and if they are any such guns found on any non law enforcement person the gun will be taken and the person would be fined and serve 1 week in jail.
Assault guns have no purpose in the city or anywhere else. Rifles and Handguns would be allowed but only for self defense or hunting.

I vote independently but am registured Republican. But Voted for Perot, Clinton, George W Bush. and Then McCain. I am not a die hard red or blue voter either way. My opinions are that the other countries no longer respect us or fear us. Obama nor Romney is presidents other leaders fear to mess with.

Most people feel that way for some reason. Independents have been marginalized because of that. People like Jill Stein and Ralph Nader deserve more than what they've gotten.

With regards to foreign policy, there are wheels in motion that one who has not held the job does not know.
4 year term? I hate the good ole boy system as much as anyone else - but we can oust those who have gotten too comfortable in their positions by vote.
Congress is a different animal than the presidency - perhaps there should be some term limits, but that could also lead to a revolving door to congress, new senators and congressmen would have to be shuffled in at a more frequent rate, leaving novices in there. Also what would happen to all those politicians who are out of work? If you would allow them to move and establish residency elsewhere to get back into congress - you could have the same people in there, possibly representing areas of the country where they have no clue as to what is going on. Weirdness ensues (or should I say 'business as usual')

We have already demanded that Polanski be returned, and the Swiss government rejected the extradition. Besides - there are worse criminals out there than Polanski - his life spiraled out of control after his 8 month pregnant wife Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson Family.
I think he has gotten his act back together since then.

If we did that, we'd need all forms of Government within a State (the state of CS! of course) and we'd have to vote for and pick candidates for each position. Seems like a lot of work just to confirm that Jibbs is the Governor and Frizzo is the perverted senator that'll get caught offering sex in a public restroom.
