Not gonna lie, at first glance I thought it was Amanda bynes, then I looked closer, and I couldn't tell who it was.

I was never a fan of hers, but there is nothing wrong with the way she looks. Just for some reason she doesn't do it for me. Ironically though, I did find her most attractive in scream 4 when she had the short hair... So I dunno.

There's a foolish campaign ad from Romney telling us all about what he's going to do all on DAY ONE IN OFFICE
you can see it on youtube, but it states the following:

Quote:
Mitt Romney has outlined a bold agenda to spur economic growth and create jobs. On his first day in office, he will approve the Keystone pipeline, introduce pro-growth tax reforms, and repeal Obamacare.
Um, ... All on his own on DAY ONE? I guess he's running for Emperor of the United States and bypassing congress.

Yay the semester is over, boo I probably failed one of my classes because I missed the final. I know failing a class is a bad way to start my second time around at class, but it was Business Communications and a total waste of time. Communications majors get jobs as managers in retail. Meanwhile I already have a career that doesn't involve wearing a polo and getting yelled at for not accepting coupons.

This is the question in my mind who looked best in The Skin Tight Avengers Out Fits for the ladies.

Black Widow

vs.

Maria Hill.

I would say Maria costume look the least tight because Scarlett's uniform looked like it was closing off air to her lower baggage areas. She looks as hot as can be but Scarlett had to be miserable in that tight outfit.

I don't want to get into a political debate, because I honestly hate it more than life itself. It bothers me when people bring up their political opinions, it's kinda like sex...keep it to yourself.

However, I think Romney is a tool and I completely agree with you. No way he's going to do that all in one day. Unrealistic expectations, which is probably the main problem most have with Obama...He thought he could change everything in one term, and you really cannot do that.

There's a meme making its way around facebook where there's a girl crying and the caption says 'I wish we could have the 2008 Obama back.' It's the same thing, people with unrealistic expectations putting their hopes in a guy and praying that he'll do everything they want him to do, regardless of how it's going to be paid for. One of the new 'causes' that idiot college students are throwing around is 'college debt forgiveness.' Are you high? You want the taxpayers to just flat out pay your bills? Unreal this mindset the youth have today, and I say youth because they're the ones who are the most rabid with a lot of these issues yet aren't aware of costs or consequences. Anyone who thinks the same about Romney is equally dim. 'Ohh he said he's gonna repeal Obamacare and bring down gas prices!' Good luck with that one. Again, if I were king for a day the first thing I would do is raise the voting age to 25 and maybe even require a W2 form from their work in order to register, because as cold hearted as it sounds I don't see why an 18 year old at UC Santa Barbara living on his parents' dime has any business voting.

In other news, I just got my first blu-ray player. Any suggestions to what some good blu-ray buys would be to kick the tires?

What, you just want us to flat-out CHOOSE your blu-rays for you? Where do you think this is, Soviet Russia!?! That's the problem with youth today, they all want handouts...

...The Bourne Trilogy is very cheap at Best Buy these days.

If you want to check out what it can do for video quality, check out Braveheart, Matrix, Alien, etc.

If you like Pixar, they usually look amazing as well.

And if you want to see what it can do for older films, I recommend Ben-Hur, North by Northwest, and Citizen Kane.

Sadly Maria, but I would still do Scarlett

Yeah the whole game is foolish - and yup its a silly game. Both sides are playing smoke and mirrors instead of pointing to real solutions for much of anything serious - mud slinging as usual.
Debt forgiveness lol - that's a good one - while they're at it make it easier on everyone in the world and set every country back to zero debt - it's just paper and pixels anyway that'll happen

Campaign promises don't mean much on either side because everything has to go through the process first.
Besides, people who have not been president don't know all the secret shenanigans that are in motion - and all the "for the president's eyes only" information is only given to the president elect about a month before he takes office - so once he gets up to speed, it's only then that they realize how many of their promises can't happen.
And don't let either side fool you - spending more money or cutting taxes (whatever they do to the money) swings the pendulum one way or the other and either way the pendulum has to swing back to make up for the gravity (or results) of either decision.

System's broke - period (CONgress is the opposite of PROgress)

I'll shut up now

I like my Blu-Ray of The Bridge on the River Kwai, and the Blu-Ray for Taxi Driver should be pretty cheap.

What are you talking about? Nobody is paying their college bills. What people want is for interest rates to be lowered. With the recession and high unemployment rates, it's tough for most people to pay their loans every month. Even Obama admitted that he finished paying his loans like 8 years ago. And this is something that affects people our age too. I can't speak for you, but I definitely haven't finished paying off my loans. And, I owe like $1,000 in late fees. So, if Obama can cut me some slack that would be great.

If you're at all a fan of the Alien series, start with the Anthology set. Very impressive picture/audio on the first two films, neat packaging, a ton of extras, etc. As far as value for dollar goes on Blu-ray, the Alien Anthology is near the top of the list.

Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for (as in, recommendation for picture or sound, biggest improvements from DVD to Blu, BD-Live functionality, extras, etc.). As one of the biggest Blu-ray aficionados here, I love talking about the format.

I just watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly for the first time on blu-ray. Pretty sweet. I think it was only $10.
