Does anyone have any idea where some leaked footage of the trailer that screened at Comic Con could be found?

I managed to find the Man of Steel one, and they were both shown on the same panel for Legendary Pictures, so...

I am doing a happy dance for a new Godzilla Movie. I saw a leaked pic of it. Wasn't a good shot. Looks like they sneaked a Pic during the panel.

I wan't that 12 1/2 Min Hobbit trailer that everyone was raving about.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have slated their take on the classic Godzilla franchise to hit theaters on May 16, 2014. The joint announcement was made today by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, and by Legendary Pictures.

Toho Co., Ltd.’s Godzilla franchise contains one of the most widely recognized movie monsters worldwide, including more than 25 films, multiple television programs, video games and book series. Legendary, which has been developing the project, and its partner Warner Bros. will return the character to its epic roots with a gritty, realistic actioner. The project will fall under Legendary's overall agreement with Warner Bros.

The film is directed by Gareth Edwards, who earned worldwide acclaim for his feature directorial debut, Monsters. Edwards directs from a screenplay by David Callaham (“The Expendables” films), David S. Goyer (the "Dark Knight" trilogy) and Max Borenstein (upcoming The Seventh Son). Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce, along with Roy Lee, Dan Lin and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher will serve as executive producers alongside Doug Davison, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.

A presentation of Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, the film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd. The tent pole film is expected to be presented in 3D.

The other movie scheduled for May 16, 2014 is the Jonathan Liebesman-directed Ninja Turtles, to be produced by Michael Bay.

Unfortunately still no sign of the teaser footage displayed at Comic-Con.

Gritty and realistic? Yeah... because that's exactly what Godzilla is.

Spot on Neverending, but honestly what plot synopsis nowadays doesn't say the film will be grittier and more realistic. It's all about that "neorealism" in Hollywood now. In all honesty, this is probably going to suck big time like all of America's attempts at Godzilla.

The TMNT movie is still in script stage. It wouldn't surprise me if they move it.

Dude, they have to. It's his signature, and even the crappy American version had it.

Plus, I grew up watching every single Godzilla film to date, so I'm definitely there!!!

If this film is a success, will they make a gritty and realistic Power Rangers? The Dragon Zord is practically a robotic Godzilla.

Now you're confusing me, I thought it did? It's been ages since I saw it though, but I swore it did.

I just don't understand at all why this is necessary. George rr Martin couldn't make this watchable.

Godzilla movies are not meant to be taken seriously. They feature goofy, over the top plot devices, bad costumes and poorly translated (unless it's really that bad in Japan as well) dialog. It's part of their charm, and why I enjoy them.

This is why I've always been against the US film industry working on a Godzilla picture. Hollywood involvement means a high budget, and Godzilla just isn't the same without a guy in a rubber suit with fishing line attached to his tail.

Godzilla's mother was a dinosaur but it's a little-known fact that his father was actually a hedgehog. Hollywood loves daddy issues so they're clearly exploring that angle for the movie.

I predict a live-action 'Land Before Time' feel.

Man the U.S. version of Godzilla was amazing when I was a kid! It's a guilty pleasure of mine to this day!

I was 15, coming off years of Godzilla movies (the 70s ones were fun, but 1985 was my all-time favorite), and when I left that theater room I felt an overwhelming sense of disappointment. That was NOT the Godzilla I grew up watching. America had ruined him and forced a whole generation of people who never knew the original to sit through that crap and think that's how it's supposed to be.

I went through a Godzilla phase where I recorded as many on VHS as I could during a marathon.
