You actually didn't say any of that, you just sort of implied it in a way that, in my opinion, probably didn't read right to anybody but you. But I understand you now. As for the Batman thing, I did not get the impression you were saying that out of "obvious fun", but that's another story.

As for nine1wing, I don't have a problem with him. You guys are all antagonizing each other in this thread, of course it's going to get nasty.

I am well aware he made the post while making mine, which is why I gave him a chance to remove it, by contacting him and asking him to do so. The reviews that are out so far seem like they're all pretty positive (hence the high tomatometer rating) but they're not being effusive with their praise.

This one slightly concerns me, even though its positive. He basically says that the movie has a lot in common with Twilight (in terms of themes and prospective audience, not execution):

I have a question would anyone be sad that Gwen got killed off in 2 and we had MJ in these movies. I am just used to MJ i guess from being a Spider-Man cartoons fan and Stacey was kinda a not big deal compared to MJ and Parker for me.

If they killed off Gwen in the sequel I wouldn't want the third to be just Spidey/MJ. I'd finally watch some Black Cat action going in there too. Change it up a bit.

Fun fact Anne Hathaway was originally set to play Black Cat in Spider-man 4. But I think she's happier playing Catwoman in Dark Knight Rises

I hope she's good in TDKR. Feels like the trailers aren't giving her enough justice, that is if she's actually wonderful in it. Fingers crossed.

But yeah, they should definitely find a good Black Cat for a future Spider-Man movie. Wonder who they'd cast if they already had Hathaway in mind for Spidey 4.

Hathaway would have been good - she has the perfect eyes for the mask.

Yeah they should add the Black Cat vs Mj aspect - that was pretty good in the comics

Redvader, The death of Gwen was one of the most important moments of Parker's life - it was another stab at the heart after losing Uncle Ben, and has affected his emotions and actions ever since.
The other really dramatic part of the whole Goblin/Gwen story is also the death of Captain Stacy - that was one of my all time favorite comic books - so dramatic.

I've been away for a week and this has been the one fun thread to read. The more I read the more confused I became, and then to top it all off some one was probationary banned for the lamest of reasons. It was like being back over at SuperHeroHype where their mods had out the most random of bannings. Oh well, maybe the person in the wrong will actually get banned next time.

From what they say in this IGN Rewind Theater, Marvel have made a road map for future movies/games.

They also say that the game is all in cannon and set after the movie and Felicia Hardy makes an appearance before she is Black Cat. This suggests that Felicia Hardy or Black Cat will show up in future movies.

What I find intresting is that the game is 100% cannon, yet there is a huge robot worm distorying the city in the game. I bet that NEVER gets mentioned in future movies.

From the looks of it Rhino's is genetically modified in the game, but my understanding of Rhino in the comics was he was in a suit. He was in a suit in the 90's cartoon and the Ultimate comics.
