I don't attack any ones ideas, it's called a open forum discussion, and you do repeat the same stuff and often times ignore what other people say, so i don't know if its a reading comprehension thing or just being selfish and not caring what other people have to say.Regardless go ahead and "snap" i couldn't care less.

boy you dont wanna dish out threats because they are nothing but smoke to me.
Also you are completely overreacting. I have neither slammed nor attacked your ideas nor am I trying to force my ideas into you. I have simply called you out on repeating the same subject and question over and over and gave you a friendly suggestion. short term memory problems or not you cant tell me that you actually forget your own questions and subjects that you brought up only yesterday. Unless you have alzheimers which I seriously not hope cause thats a very serious illness that I wish nobody. And judging from Nicks comment apparently I am not the only one who noticed that. Also if all I do is going on your nerves, then why do you write with me so much like we´re discussion partners? At least be honest about it.

Downey Jr.'s Avengers payday makes him a lot more like Tony Stark
There's no doubt Robert Downey Jr.'s the perfect choice to play Tony Stark. He's got the look, he's got the style, he's got the playboy flair. And now, thanks to a massive Marvel deal that puts his Avengers co-stars' salaries to shame, he's getting closer to having the Tony Stark bank account. So how much is Downey raking in on this billion-dollar flick? According to "multiple knowledgeable sources," he could end up with somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 million. Yes, you read it right. Fifty million dollars. For one movie. As for the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo will reportedly earn $2-3 million each, while Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson used their somewhat bigger names to rake in somewhere in the $4-6 million range. That's a lot of money, but those paydays look like loose change compared to Downey's earnings. So why does Tony Stark get so much more? Well, after Iron Man became a surprisingly lucrative hit for Marvel, Downey's reps renegotiated his deal to include box-office bonuses and a piece of Marvel's earnings on every film of theirs that he appears in. That's rumored to be somewhere in the 5 to 7 percent range. And when you're in a film that earns a billion dollars worldwide in less than three weeks, that's bound to be a pretty big chunk of cash. Downey's not alone in this kind of super-payout. Johnny Depp is estimated to have pulled in a combined $250 million for his work on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and it's been reported that Michael Bay raked in $80 million for the first Transformers film alone, perhaps more for the sequels. For Downey, this could only be the beginning, with Iron Man 3 on the way and the inevitable Avengers sequel in the works. One of the ways Marvel was able to make this particular flick happen was by tightly controlling the salaries of its stars to keep costs low. The lone exception to that was Downey, but now that his payout has swelled so much, two questions arise. One, will Marvel decide someday soon that keeping him around is too costly? And two, how soon will the other Avengers come looking for similar deals?

Its not uncommon for people to do this. I think percent of movie profits was how PJ paid the LOTR cast. To answer your question. There is no way there can be an Iron Man aka Tony Stark without Downey unless Stark gets killed as a character in the movies and Rhodes replaces him as Iron Man.
I however don't see Marvel doing this. I am sure there first plan will be to sign the actors for other movies to come. I am sure they will least sign the cast for 2 more Movies. I mean The Avengers cast. |

Joss Whedon to Write and Direct The Avengers 2
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=93364 During Disney's earnings call today, chairman and chief executive Bob Iger announced that Joss Whedon has officially signed on to write and direct The Avengers 2. He also revealed that Whedon will have a hand in the creation of the proposed Marvel TV show for ABC. No official word on how soon his work on either of these projects will start but keep your attention here as we will undoubtedly have the latest very soon.

2015 is the expected release date. ALSO, Joss Whedon will be creatively involved with the other Marvel films so their could be a smoother transition leading up to the sequel.

Joss just has to not succomb to the Michael Bay issue of trying to make a sequel better by only adding more people and more explosions. Keep the same cast with maybe two super hero additions at most.

I think Avengers should be made like Rings was just do 3 or 2 movies at once and that way you would not have such a gap between films.

Loved it when Whedon said that Avengers 2, won't be "bigger" but will be "deeper." Seriously if Marvel plays its cards right again and Avengers 2 is just as financially successful as the first, then think of all the money Whedon is responsible for! Its setting up to be that way.

Looking at the poll today... how can so many people want to see Spider-Man in the next Avengers? Black Panther would be pretty cool to see.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the New Avengers line-up that brought Spider-Man and Wolverine onto the team. There are far too many more traditional members of The Avengers who are more appropriate which weren't included. These days, in the wake of the movie, there are more Avengers teams than I can keep track of. |

I like how Black Panther has the most votes...and it ain't even black history month y'all. Too bad Marvel is still playing it safe with only 2 brothas at a time. It could be worse, they could pull a Walking Dead and have a new brotha show up everytime the previous one gets killed.

Yeah I read about that and...*sigh* I guess. I mean there's worse actors (Tyler Perry as Black Panther) but were Derek Luke and Chiwetel Ejiofor busy?

I don't understand why people can't get their head round the fact that Spider-Man isn't owned by Marvel Studios. Spider-Man will never be in an Avengers movie unless they can use Miles Morales in a cop out way.

At the Iron Man 3 premier in LA last night, Joss Whedon decided to talk about Avengers 2.
Joss Whedon - “I have actually finished a draft and I’m redoing it now. I think it’s in really good shape. We’re in a very good place… It’s going really well, eventually someone will explain to me that it’s not and pull me out of my bubble. I’ve been writing and meeting with actors and we’re starting to storyboard, all the preliminary processes. This is the part where it’s all still fun.” Yahoo Movies - Will there be any new characters? Joss Whedon - “I’ve got these two characters, two of my favorite characters from the comic book, a brother-sister act. They’re in the movie.”
