Default Avengers 2.

I don't think we need to worry about jumping the gun. I think we all know that likely 2014 at some point there will be an Avengers 2 . I know Thor 2 Isn't due out until 2014 But I think They will want to get another out sooner before these people want more money.

I would like to see other Avengers added but I think it should be only 1 or 2. Simply because you need to have moments for each Avenger and I think since Coulson is lets say inactive that they could add an Avenger to replace that character opening.
I will post any news that comes along for Avengers 2. Its not be confirmed a Avengers 2 news wise but I think we know they are prepared for it to be announced and decisons will likely be made at any time buisness wise.

I am going to post a Poll to see who people think the Avenger Added should be.

Well I had forgotten that Thor 2 isn't released until late 2014. Its just that I think people will not want to wait every 3 years for a movie. I mean Downy and Sam Jackson are not young men. I think they may change the schedule and Move Thor 2 and maybe we could get a 2014 Avengers 2. Since Avatar 2 is being pushed back. Avengers 2 be a great Christmas release film after the Hobbit is done.
Its never too early my friend to think of a sequel and who would make a great new Additon to the Avengers.

I don't think Marvel Studios has the rights for most of those characters, and i doubt Sony will lose Spider-man any time soon, same with Fox and X-men.

I think Black Panther would be pretty cool, but not sure who has the rights to the character.

I was thinking that Feige said a while ago that films right were complicated because he said while Sony own Individual Spider-Man right that Avenger Rights belonged to Marvel.
My guess is that anyone could show up if they decided to use that character clause in the Avengers. Which likely means could only use the character for the Avengers.
They could have a New Spider-Man or Wolverine show up.

Your theory was how i figured it until Feige talked about Avengers characters film rights being different. Your theory is likely more right. In that case it would only be Vision, Wasp or Ant Man, War Machine or She-Hulk.

Black Panther's rights are back at Marvel. Kevin Fiege talked about developing a script last January. He'd be great, but he needs a solo movie first. Too cool to get the Hawkeye treatment.

Ms. Marvel would be good, and her origin could be pulled off as part of the plot without a solo movie. Her origin could also be worked into a SHIELD movie, and then brought into The Avengers.

Doctor Strange also needs a solo movie, but I don't see him as an Avenger. Marvel Studios needs to do a series of horror comics movies. Strange, Blade & the Nightstalkers (yes, Blade is back at Marvel Studios), Morbius, Hellstorm, Man-Thing, then bring them all together for a Midnight Sons movie. If it works for the traditional superhero crowd, it can work for them too.

I think Vision and War Machine makes kinda the most since to appear in Avengers 2. Simply because i can see Them Having Stark Build Vision.

I think Ant-Man, Wasp, and Vision are the best fits for this current team. Maybe Black Panther too, but then I'd want to lose somebody because the team is getting kind of big.

If they had War Machine they likely wouldn't use Vision and since they are likely dealing with Thanos i guess. I think Joss likes female heroes so its possible Ms Marvel or even She-Hulk could get a nod.
Would Joss use Eliza Dushku for banners Cousin or SMG for Wasp or Ms Marvel.

I think War Machine is kind of boring on a scale like this. Let's be realistic, from a story standpoint he's U.S. military and probably not the kind of guy Fury would target. And from a production standpoint, essentially two Iron Man's isn't exciting. Works great in the Iron Man films and I hope we see War Machine again in IM3, but there are more interesting characters better suited to a sequel here.

How About Vision who is made by Tony Stark Using Jarvis as a model to build him. I think Paul Bettany would make a great Vision.

I figured it happen any time. For some reason i always figured that May 16 2014 would be there for The Nick Fury/ Shield movie and they maybe release Avengers 2 that Fall lets say Christmas since Avatar 2 is being pushed back.

Gotta agree with Tornado about War Machine. He's the guy you bring in when Iron Man isn't available. Having them both in an Avengers story is redundant.

As for She-Hulk, I just don't see that happening for pretty much the same reason. She's a poor man's Hulk.

I'll have to look up female Avengers. I like Wasp the best but i am told she is silly for a live action version. Ms Marvel likely is a no and The Scarlett Witch because both could be in X-Men First Class 2.

I think Ant-Man is the most likely addition. Although I would really like seeing Black Panther as well (this could help explain the vibranium in Cap's shield). Luke Cage would also be a decent possibility. Especially if they go with his Ultimate storyline. This would provide more of a back story for Fury as well.

I t is very odd there is no Nick Fury movie and I was sure we get one after the Avengers but sometime before Avengers 2. That what i assumed May 16 2014 was for.
That way we could kinda meet Coulson and Maria Hill and so on.

Avengers was pretty much Nick Furys movie in a sense, and honestly he isn't that interesting of a character to warrant a movie only about him and SHIELD

Don't you kinda want to know why and how he got an Eye patch. People keep talking about hawkeye and widow needed a movie. I would rather have Nick Fury movie then either of them. Sam Jackson can carry a Movie on his own. Widow and Hawkeye were better suited for Avengers characters.

You kinda know i mean visually. Also didn't he have some test done like Steve Rodgers only it slows his age. Because i believe he in the comics was in the war with Cap. But i guess the movies may not go that Route.
