That would make a great movie . Looks like it is early Smallville Cool before Lex left the show.
I never understood why people don't like the Green Arrow i think if Batman can work a viglanti like Arrow would work.
But then again DC and WB can't get there minds off of just Batman mode. Because ever other comic character has no passion behind the product. Maybe Snyder can make great Man Of Steel and we will get great other movies done by DC comic characters

I haven't been able to watch the trailer yet. I would rather not have a group of college students stare at me whilst I watch a trailer. Just a pet peeve.

No? I mean beyond Smallville, which he was bias about he has always been grounded and acute to his standards. If that makes sense. We all have movies/tv shows that sneak past our standards because we hold it dear to ourselves. Like how I absolutely love The Replacements and Like Mike, even though both are dumb as hell.

"I think that when you see the pilot, other than in name, the characters really don't have anything in common," Amell confirmed when asked about any similarities between this and the Green Arrow introduced in Smallville and played by Justin Hartely. "It's very different and people will get that after about two minutes of the show." As for the costume, he added added, "The idea for the costume was I wanted to be able to put the costume on by myself. Because if I could put the costume on by myself that means that it's functional and if it's functional people will buy it. My boots are actually Nike Frees, which is kind of cool. It's leather and it's tight and it's aggressive, but I can move in it. People will like it."

What more can he say? They're not giving us much to go on and what they have shown us is mediocre at best. It does look okay, but it doesn't look great. And who's to say that this show is even going to make it past it's first season? With that thought in mind, why should someone even watch this show when it first premieres when there's a slim at best chance of the show surviving? If it makes it to season 2 or 3, maybe I'll give it a shot. But I have no hope for it's survival. Especially on CW.

The expectations are lower on CW. It doesn't need to get big ratings for it survive. Smallville lasted 10 years and it averaged 2-3 million viewers. Nikita was just renewed for a 3rd season and it's one of the lowest rated shows on network television. I'm not saying there's a guarantee the show will last beyond its first season. CW cancels shows just like any other network. But it isn't the type of network where you need to freak out. As long as it gets over a million viewers it'll be fine.

Again, there's no guarantee. Birds of Prey definitely didn't last beyond its first season. But there's no reason to wait either.

Yes, it's true that I watched Smallville too. But I watched it as a Superman fan curious of a new interpretation. Tornado, however, watched it because, apparently, it was a mirror image of his life. That always made me laugh. So, I'm very curious if Tornado is also gonna make some ridiculous claims about Arrow. And then go on to write 5 paragraph reviews of every episode. The entertainment value of this thread is very dependant on that. I mean, seriously, can you imagine the Smallville thread without Tornado? It wouldn't have been the same. So, if Tornado is gonna ignore this thread then we all have a right to protest. There are photos, a clip, and a trailer. And his response has been incredibly disappointing.

I watched it initially because I loved Superman. Don't forget that I'm 24. When the show came out, I was 13. I had a connection with it because I grew up with it. Don't make a mockery of that connection. The show meant a lot to me when I had some issues and it gave me something to look forward to every week. **** you Neverending if you can't understand that. Haven't you ever been upset or depressed and connected with a movie, a book, a song, or a TV show? Well mine was Smallville. It is what it is, don't make fun of me for it. I find it incredibly offensive and demeaning every time you bring up both Smallville and me in the same negative and mocking context. The fact that I have raised this point multiple times in the past and yet you continue to do so says to me that you don't respect me as a person. And I'm not asking you to, but leave me the **** alone. I'm tired of this bull****, and I'm done talking to you.
