Clearly a person who gives Act of Valor an 8.5/10 knows what he's talking about. Silly me to doubt your cinematic knowledge.

Act of Valor looks like a good recruitment video for the military.

Have you seen the movie? Again, probably not. If you have, then as I said before, I will be more than willing to debate the merits of the film with you. In my opinion an 8.5 was a worthy score based on my subjective feelings about the film. Was the movie perfect? No. Did I enjoy the film when I saw it? Absolutely. If you are pretentious enough to think that because I enjoyed a movie that was panned by critics, then I should be the one questioning not only your cinematic knowledge, but your ability to think independently. I'm not going to though, because I really don't give a flying **** about your opinions.
But really, that's not what this is about. It is about your belief that your opinions of movies are better than others. At least that is how I am perceiving your actions. For some reason, you feel compelled to attack peoples' opinions of movies without even seeing the movie. You have twice attacked me based on movies you HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN. Quite frankly it is getting a little asinine. I'm not trying to argue with you, but for some inexplicable reason, you feel compelled to question my opinions. So I am going to ask you in the nicest of ways, until you have something meaningful to converse with me about, just stay quiet.

@ Justin: To some extent Act of Valor certainly does feel like an extended recruitment video. I can't argue that one.

I know there is a lot of great stuff coming out later this year... but this has been the worst start to a year in recent memory. I am seeing a lot more in these first few months than I usually do (at 12 ten days into March, usually only at 3 or 4 at this point in time), but goddamn this has been an awful start.

The Secret World of Arietty - 8.5/10
Haywire - 8/10
The Woman In Black - 8/10
Underworld: Awakening - 7/10
Project X - 7/10
Chronicle - 7/10
The Vow - 6.5/10
Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie - 6.5/10
