Can anyone here recommend me some thriller films which require intelligence and not any stupid action-packed rubbish (no Bond, Bourne, Die Hard, etc.)? No horror or fantasy films please.
When I speak of intelligent thriller films I tend to think of: * Cache * The Day of the Jackal * Funny Games * Infernal Affairs * The IPCRESS File * Leon the Professional * Les Diaboliques * The Lives of Others * Memento * No Country for Old Men * The Prestige * Se7en * Shutter Island * The Silence of the Lambs * Tell No One * Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy * Touch of Evil * The Usual Suspects * The Vanishing * Zodiac * most Hitchcock films So, can anyone recommend me some non-horror/fantasy thriller films which require intelligence, especially foreign thriller films?

Well that's very prescriptive considering the subjective list you've produced. No horror or fantasy? ...Most people would consider some the films you've listed to come under these categories. In fact most of the films you listed are films which 'cross' and 'blend' genre's.
Don't get me wrong, i agree these are fairly good examples of intelligent thrillers. But it seems to me you enjoy well rounded films (and twist endings? just another observation), not the silo of thrillers alone. Anyway, from the examples you've given i think you might enjoy: - Oldboy - The girl with the dragon tattoo - The departed (and Infernal Affairs) - Unbreakable - Brick - Drive - Inception - The adjustment bureau - The town - The lives of others - The lincoln lawyer

Shining and Silence of the lambs maybe are the most intelligent horror thrillers of all times!
