Ah yeah, I was outside of Shea Stadium after a Mets game waiting for my father to bring the car around - and there were these two women laughing at all the fans at the gate because they weren't going to see any players there - meanwhile, Ken Singleton pulled up right in front of us and the two girls got in and drove off with him and another player - they were the wives/girlfriends of players

3/5 of our starting pitchers are absolutely taking a huge dump on the bed. i still have no idea what was going through managements mind's when they made lincoln a starter. dude had a below 1.00 era as a reliever for the first 3 months of the season, and you can't just pull a dude out of the bullpen at this time of the year, and give him regular starts. predictably, he is getting shelled in the second time people see his pitches. by inning 3, the bullpen already needs to bail him out. and don't get me started on correa, shoulda moved him last year when we had the chance.

and where... are... the bats?

Ugh, was just at one of the most frusterating games I've ever been to. And considering our year, that's saying a lot. First grand slam I've ever seen, and we still lost 9-10.

We might have the worst bullpen in baseball.

You don't spend that much money on veteran players in a rebuilding year. Not to mention they're still over .500 and only 6.5 games out of first. Poor spoiled Red Sox fans... I'd do back flips if the Orioles considered that a "rebuilding" or bad year.

Yeah I told you I haven't followed much this season - you're right, they still have a pretty big payroll - I guess it's more of the injuries that has held them.

Damn the Yankees are HOT. Finally we're hitting with RISP, our rotation has shaped up, and we have the best record in baseball. Certainly makes up for being a Jets fan. Cano is on a tear, pretty clear he's become our best offensive player over the last couple seasons even with Grandyman belting homers.
