John McLane or his wife and his daughter, too. Can I play the movie with his daughter? I want to be with her.

I'll watch Die Hard 5 just to get it over with. Bruce Willis has lost his John Mcclane groove, that was pretty obvious in 4.0. Hope he retreeves it for this one though.

Yeah but you can't really blame him, they made it PG-13 and for some reason they turned him into some super cop.

Make it R and tone down all the super cop like **** he did, and i think he still has it.

http://www.deadline.com/2011/11/die-...o-four-actors/

Quote:
In the young actor category, a role to die for is John McClane Jr, the son of Bruce Willis’ indestructible cop character in A Good Day To Die Hard, which John Moore will direct in Russia early next year for 20th Century Fox.

I’m told the studio, Moore and Willis are down to these four actors for the role: Hunger Games’ Liam Hemsworth; Emmy-winning Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul (scheduling on his series could pose a problem); The Pacific star James Badge Dale; and D.J. Cotrona, who was a regular in the series Detroit 1-8-7 and is currently shooting G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation. The studio would not comment.

http://www.deadline.com/2012/02/spar...die-hard-lead/

A prolonged search has ended, and 20th Century Fox has set Jai Courtney to play the son of John McClane (Bruce Willis) in A Good Day To Die Hard, the fifth installment of the Die Hard franchise. John Moore will direct a film that has been dated for a February 14, 2013 release. Alex Young is producing. Courtney is perhaps best known for playing Varro in the Starz series Spartacus: Blood And Sand. He was the close confidante of Spartacus until they were forced into a battle to the death.

Psh, why not. I'll welcome a Die Hard film, as long as they lower John's abilities and make him NOT super human. Best thing about the first 3 Die Hard movies was the fact that he was a man, capable of mistakes, human and could be hurt, badly. The fourth he did that but he was going above and beyond, just didn't really feel 'realistic'.

You've never driven a semi up a collapsing highway while being shot at by a Harrier jet? You haven't lived a day in your life...

What your saying would be a lot more realistic than what John McClane has been in the past when he was young. However, I'd only slightly tweak it so he isn't so indestructible. If his son has to do all the killing... and push daddy around in a wheelchair... then they should pull the plug on these movies right away.
