Those movies were already named after the character.

Or what if they just called it "John" and they used a porta-crapper as the promo poster?

So do you like any movies?Or do you just come in here to ***** and complain about every movie?

Anyways, i hope this happens i love the Die Hard movies especially the first three.

I think it would be sweet if they brought back Thornburg the reporter for a cameo. and would be cool if they brought back Powell from the first film as a cameo as well.

I think it would be cool if they went for a Female Villain as the main one (The asian actress from 4 wasn't the main one, thought she was far more entertaning than the main one).

I think it would be cool if maybe they went for a different setting maybe a tropical setting(Miami maybe?) and definetley and i d rather they have no sidekick because it would just become stale.

Those are some good ideas. I like the idea of a tropical location. Maybe John could be taking a long deserved vacation, it could be somewhere in the Caribbean. Maybe it could be about modern day pirates or something. Or there could be terrorists and/or thieves holding up a hotel high rise, that could be cool I think.

Different setting is a good idea. Female main villain is not.

End the major crisis plotline and work on something stronger/smaller. John McClaine doesn't have to save the world, the country or even a city. He's just fine AND awesome when he's saving a building full of people. Also, a change in scenery is a great idea, but to have it be someplace too sunny like Miami would make the movie feel too... tropical. And the 'Asian' actress in "4" was Maggie Q. I enjoyed her in it, yes... but she didn't feel like a main villain type of character, and to be honest, seeing her and McClaine fight it out felt like of weird.

No, I just make it a point to complain about the movies you like so I can hear you whine and cry all the time and complain about everyone on the boards like you always do. It's fun to watch you get your diaper all in a twist.

Yeah McClaine does not need a sidekick, he is a one man army. But why not have the movie take place in Las Vegas? McClaine takes a vacation their and decides to go to a casino and gamble but theives hold it up....I like the Carribbean idea with pirates.

He's not Jack Sparrow, he's John McClaine.

**** no, That guy sucks big time imo.

I think Javier Bardem as the main villain would sweet, but if the rumors of him being the Bond villain are true than id rather not see him as the main villain.

I liked Die Hard 4 for what it was, but i felt like Bruce Willis Mclane wasn't as lous and obnoxious as he was in previous movies, thats why this movied needs to be rated R, i like the John Mclane who would call you a "****head" and was always cussing.

Dwayne Johnson is a pretty good actor who has personality and charisma...plus he can play a villian role really well. Him as a bad guy would be badass. Imagine him and Bruce Willis exchanging conversations. Now that would be awesome.

I prefer Dwayne Johnson as the guy good guy, Johnson would be better suited in a film like this as maybe an FBI agent that's competing against John to get the bad guy.

If Dwayne were to be the good guy then maybe he can be a helper to McClaine like how Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Long were....McClaine still be one do most of the work but Johnson just help out a small bit.

maybe they can make it like a social justice movie... John finds out that the fashion industry will no longer make white muscle shirts/wife beaters so he becomes the terrorist and holds the entire fashion industry hostage. lol

The fifth entry in the Die Hard franchise officially has a title and a release date, with 20th Century Fox revealing that the film will be called A Good Day to Die Hard and will hit theaters on February 14, 2013.

The film, drafted by Skip Woods (The A-Team, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) will be directed by John Moore (Max Payne) and is officially described as follows:

Since the first Die Hard in 1988, John McClane has found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing, making him enemy #1 for terrorists the world over. Now, McClane faces his greatest challenge ever, this time on an international stage, when his estranged son Jack is caught up in the daring prison escape of a rogue Russian leader, and father and son McClane must work together to keep each other alive and keep the world safe for democracy.

The film is expected to begin production in January of 2012, filming on-location in Russia.

Considering how Bruce Willis's head resembles an egg more and more as the years go by I was hoping they would opt for 'Die Hard Boiled' but I suppose this will do.

I guess going by the blurb we can assume that they may be planning for his son to be the new hero in future sequels.

Sounds like Die Hard 5 is about to make Die Hard 4 look like Die Hard 1.

Uhh i had high hopes for this because i have loved ever Die Hard movie, but the director and writer for this movie don't really strike alot of confidence in this.

I just hope they at least make it Rated R, i liked Die Hard 4, but honestly it was an R rating away from being a really good Die Hard movie imo.
