Default The Hobbit Book Discussion Thread [Warning Spoilers Allowed].

Ok anyone who want to talk about the Hobbit Book welcome to talk about it or any novels written by JRR Or Christopher Tolkien that may be woven into the current Hobbit Two Part film.
Be warned there be spoilers here so yeh turn back now matiee's.

I have a feeling we'll see more things than were presented in The Hobbit. I like to think we'll see: the Necromancer (Sauron) in Dol Guldur, Gandalf's side adventures with the White Council and Aragorn, and Aragorn hunting for Smeagol. Maybe we'll get to see Aragorn and Arwen meeting, ala flashback.

Really interested in this movie in that I've never read the book. Saw the first LOTR and then I went out and read the books and had another great experience with them so hopefully this will happen again for me with The Hobbit.

The Hobbit is really very quick read. Id read it before hand if was you and Unfisnished Tales.

Man I totally forgot about how the descendants of Dale (being Bard the Bowman) were able to decipher messages from thrushes hence the message Bilbo sent regarding Smaug's weakspot. So looking forward to that moment.
