Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole - Review Thread

Starts out good, ends up being great. True, it's a standard "coming of age" story, but it has charm, scope, and that absolutely zestful Zack Snyder stamp on it. It does get a little heavy-handed in the beginning with it's characters which is due to the film not allowing much breathing room. But at the end of it, the squabbles on the journey to Ga'Hoole were outweighed by the landscape, wonder, and excitement within. In my book, Snyder's four for four.

I really loved this. Gorgeous animation and music. 8/10

This movie reminded me of The Secrets Of Nimh Type movie or Rankin and Bass Hobbit animated movie.
I consider it to be above any kinds movie and would say grown ups should see a realy great film that happens to be animated.
It was a great 3D spectacle and one of the best 2010 movies in my view.
I think they put this movie in the wrong month. This been a great Holiday film. People who haven't seen this should for its the best animated films in years in my opinion.
I might have to read the books even though they seemed aimed for kids
