Well if that's the case, people are idiots for wantings to start a revolution against the benders who ultimately built their entire civilization, lol. Still though, I really want to see where the story goes. I've seen the premiere episodes twice now. It's really great to see Avatar back on TV. Thank god M. Night's movie failed. I do not ever want to see that man make another one.

His biggest mistake was not fallowing the movies just like The series was for Book One.
Avatar Roku would have been awesome on the big screen. But no he had to make The Fire nation. M NIghts pro India as the nation.
I kinda see The Water Tribe people as Eskimos I guess. I see Air Nomads as Tibet like people.
I see The Earth Benders as Maybe desert like Race. To Me Fire nation is Asian. My point is M Night ruined a simple concept and movie and those fight effects at the end shows me he knows nothing aboou cgi and pratical effects.

Anyways I was wondering this. The character of Amon. Could he be Zukos Son or even Zuko himself. I ask because his mask looks something like The Blue Spirit wore.

The show has a big enough following and has epic blockbuster written all over it. They will definitely attempt another adaptation.

Viacom owns both Nickelodeon and Paramount. So, no other studio will be adaptating this show.

I think it can be saved if they just do a GI Joe here and just hire new people to direct and so on. Id keep Ringer because he was good as Aang. What fell apart movie wise was M Night thinking he had to change the story some what and leave out Roku and He is not a good director to use the art of Special Effects. Sadly this fell prey to ungifted hands like Dragonball Z did with Fox.

Well They did the hulk that way and i am hoping someone would do an Eragon and Dragonball Z reboot as well as this. The biggest problem in todays action film making is people will write any story and think i throw enough effects at it that the movie will pass.
My hope is this and other messed up properties will get another look with a person passionate over the material. Like Jackson with Rings and Nolan with the Batman Begins series.

It doesn't matter when/who does a reboot of Avatar: The Last Airbender. All they need to do is to include the statement "Not from the mind of M. Night Shyamalan" and it will be a marketing hit.

Rights change hands all the time. Who knows what will happen in crazy hollywoodland in the future.

Well any company can pass on a project and another studio pick it up. Rights to the movie could be sold from Paramount and the cartoon rights could still be at Nick.
