I think you become the avatar when you can go in and out of the Avatar State at will. And it sounds like the next book will be called "Spirit". So, yep.

I like the show but I think she has allot more to learn as I am sure Aang did. Another thing is she has power of the 4 elements but she seems a bit out of self control when she fights with them.
I think a better story would be that Korra had to relearn her other 3 elements. I mean Kya and General Iroh could have retaught her Water and Fire Bending and Lin Earth Bending.

Its cool to see Aang in the moment she needed him most but I think relearning her bending might have taught her a more humbling lesson.

Does anyone else think we could have used 2 or 3 more episodes this season because from season 8-12 was a odd changes. I mean Amon went from taking Tarrlok bending and obvious bad guy to Amon being out of control in one episode. I think Amon and The Love Triangle thing needed a couple more episodes to wrap things up better.

So I was thinking about this the second through watching the finale: Does Korra give everyone their bending back? Even the Mob bosses?

This just for arguments sake. Because, to be fair, she would have too. But I could see opposition in that.

As The Avatar she would have too but then again non benders like that shop keeper would be opressed maybe again by that Bender. I don't think people realize how hard a deal being Amon was. He in a way was trying to purge those who had it coming. Amons wrong thinking was that all one type were bad. I don't think Korra realizes how hard it was to be Aang and do recall Aang had Zuko, Sokka, Toph and Suki and Katara to help him with this stuff.
Korra has Bolin and Mako. There is the council but she has the power Amon had to give or take Bending. I think Korra will learn how hard a fine line she has to stay on.

Since the Avatar has the ability to remove someone's bending, I'm sure she'll also have the right to deny giving someone back their powers.

I don't think she has a right to dictate who has a right to have bending. Well she does being the Avatar but show wise and public opinion. Korra would have to cure everyone Amon debended.

Season 4? So freakin' awesome! That means it'll run beyond TLA's trilogy series!

And this new world is rich with story telling opportunities so I'm sooooooo game!

I noticed in the article no new villain was shown or mentioned. I wonder if we will see iroh again and maybe Zuko. Also I wonder how Momo and Appa died. Maybe they were buried with Aang.

I manage to look up most of the Comic Con stuff and no mention of Beifong....I really hope they're still keeping her around....'cause I kinda like the character...a lot.

I am excited to see Bumi and Kya. And I like the idea that Korra is still impulsive even with her Avatar State skills. Showing she still has much to learn. I just hope that this staggered green lighting of seasons doesn't effect the pacing.
