True. Which is why I think that the whole putting Tina in charge as the new female lead come next season is going to become less and less confirmed as we get closer to a premiere. They gave her barely any time in the last three years and she's been there since the beginning and never left. Where each of the characters have come, gone and returned, Tina is one of the few that never left.

I get a Degrassi feeling from this. Like, they'll show all of them for the first several episodes to help establish that they all made it to their designated colleges or life-paths and then slowly phase them out one by one until they bring it down to only a chosen few that they'll follow regularly. So when he says they'll all be back, I see him meaning for a little while, lol.

Yeah, I really don't think Ryan Murphy knows how to properly plan Glee, so I take nothing he says seriously. He was very firm last year about having no guest stars and no tribute episodes for season 3, and that went out the window as soon as he heard a name he liked. If he puts every kid in New York, though, I'm just going to punch him in the face. lol, because they cannot ALL end up in NYC. Hopefully characters like Mercedes and Quinn will just be shown visiting Ohio on Christmas break or something.

Is it just me or am I getting a carbon-copy feeling here? Like the new characters are just copies of the ones that left? Whatever happened to being controversial with his characters and stories? Seems like he's just playing it safe to me. Oh well, too early to judge yet anyways.

I blame my parents for letting me watch too many musicals as a child. Now I'm addicted to them, in every form.

Actually, I downloaded it last night, but haven't had a chance to see it yet. I'll most likely watch it tonight when I get home and finish unpacking. Also, I've been seeing nothing but articles on it and even saw a report about it on CNN yesterday while at starbucks. Apparently, Newtown residents weren't happy with it and said it was in poor taste and "too soon". I'm interested to see exactly what happened. Any of the main cast get shot or die?

School shootings are nothing new, as we all know. So "too soon" is not true. This has been a hot topic issue since Columbine. And Glee isn't the first series to depict school shootings. 21 Jump Street was doing it back in the `80s.

I saw it. I thought the choir room scene was well done. All of the actors really knocked it out of the park, especially Chord Overstreet (who I never really thought much of before). I didn't like the ending where we realized there wasn't technically a shooter. I wish they actually had real stakes. I mean, they have so many useless characters. They could've killed one of them.

I'm just concerned that they're going to do what glee always does and never really mention this again.

So I've just learned that NBC's Smash has been cancelled. They're going to air the remaining episodes, but it's been moved to Saturday nights, which is worse than Friday timeslots, in my opinion, but whatever, what's done is done I guess. What gets me angry is the fact that Smash, a show written by award winning broadway writers, staring award winning actors portraying amazingly well written characters, was in fact cancelled. Don't get me started on how awesome the story is, and forget the fact that it's 80% ORIGINAL SONGS, no, how about the fact that it's actually a hundred times better than anything Glee has done in the last two and a half years. Glee survives, but Smash is cancelled... this, I do not get.
