American Idol: Season 8

We are FINALLY to the top 13. Yup, 13 this year as almost everyone knows. Before I do my run down of the top 12, I have to say THANK GOD THAT TITIANA IS GONE!!! That ***** was crazy.

Adam Lambert - My pick for winner of season 8. I mean, his vocals are TOO amazing. I have yet to hear him sing a bad song. He always knows what to pick and how to nail it.

Alexis Grace - My fiance's favorite (I think, right?). Not my favorite. She isn't bad, but I doubt she gets very far in the competition.

Allison Iraheta - For a 16 year old, I can't believe how great her vocals are. Hopefully she doesn't create some squeeks.

I think she will go far.

Anoop Desai - Personally one of my favorites. I don't know if he will go very far, but I like him a lot, all around.

Danny Gokey - It could EASILY come down to him and Adam Lambert. Should be very interesting!!!

Jasmine Murray - Very pretty girl. I NEVER would have guessed that she was just 16. She has an amazing voice and I believe that she will go far into the competition as well.

Jorge Nunez - He could be the dark horse. One to watch out for, for sure.

Kris Allen - I don't care for Kris. I can't believe that he made it in the top 13. I don't think he goes very far.

Lil Rounds - She is good, but I think slightly overrated. Not sure what to say about her. The name is definitely catchy.

Matt Giraud - I kind of like Matt. Maybe because of my love for dueling piano bars. He has some good soul, and I think that he could do something if he really gives it his all.

Megan Joy - Honestly, she is ok. But, I don't think she gets very far.

Michael Sarver - He is very good. The thing is, is that he needs to make sure that he is picking the right songs. One screw up may send him packing back to the oil rigs.

Scott MacIntyre - Scott is very good. I say he goes deep into the competition. I just hope that it is not all sympathy votes. He is a very talented young man. I hope that he plays his piano a lot for performances.

My rankings for the top 13:

1. Danny Gokey - Using his wife's death to get votes aside, hes the best we've heard so far IMO.

2. Anoop Desai - Just seems like a cool dude. He'll make it far on popularity alone, but I think hes got a great voice to go with it.

3. Allison Iraheta - She gave me chills when she sang "Alone". Thats all we've heard from her so far, but if she can come close to that every week she has a chance to win it all.

4. Scott MacIntyre - His voice reminds me of Ben Folds. I wasn't sure of him at first (thought maybe he just got by because he was blind), but hes grow on me alot.

5. Lil Rounds - Shes getting alot of hype. Shes probably worth it, but I thought she was shouty during Hollywood week. Plus not my style of music. But shes good.

6. Kris Allen - I thought his "Man In The Mirror" was good. I have to hear more from him to get a good idea of how much I like him, but based off his one song hes in my top half.

7. Matt Giraud - He tends to add a run to the end of every line he sings, but hes pretty good otherwise.

8. Alexis Grace - Shes definitely good, and probably has the most potential to get even better over the season.

9. Adam Lambert - Crazy vocals, no denying hes got skills, but I just can't stand him. Annoys the hell out of me with that high pitched screaming.

10. Jorge Nunez - Good voice, just not my style. He overdoes almost everything.

11. Megan Joy Corkrey - Annoys me. Weird dancing, annoying singing voice. I can't envision her singing anything outside of her niche. Shes definitely the hottie in the group though.

12. Jasmine Murray - Too young. I think she'll get swallowed up by the stage. She was better on wild card night, but not as good as the judges made it sound.

13. Michael Sarver - His performance in the Top 36 reminded me of a bar singer. Can't believe he made it in.

Usually for me, I could tell who really has a shot at winning when the it goes down to 6 or 7 contestants left. As of right now, I really don't know who's gonna win.

Yeah, a little bit. Shes hot. I didn't notice it as much until she got the hair/make-up/dress stylists. I hope she stays an extra week for that alone.

I can't stand Megan.. I think the way she pronounces her words is strange and she really really needs to stop dancing, and smiling weirdly when she sings. I hope she goes home tonight.

My faves of last night - Kris - so tender and sexy at the same time

Anoop - nice to see his vocals and not just his personality shining through
Matt - wow he has such a voice and such talent on the piano.. he really stood out last night
Danny - I love him every week and it was interesting song choice, but he tends to do that.

I love Adam.. he's one of my faves but the spin on Ring of Fire was a bit strange. I thought he would have been better with Hurt by Johnny Cash since he's sort of the Emo type anyways lol. Overall I am loving this season.

Can't stand Alexis.. she seems snobby and disconnected. Allison is my fave out of the girls for sure. Lil is annoying and reminds me too much of Fantasia, who I never really liked in the first place anyways.

Lil Rounds has NOTHING lil' about her. Look at the size of those boobs, or her butt, DAMN!!! LOL!!!

Also, not shocked to see Alexis go home. She did come off snobbish, and I never thought that she was that good. I don't know how she made it into the top, in the first place. Scott MacIntyre continues to impress. I hope that he keeps the piano around for awhile.
