I think most of the big news will be in the Fall when Nolan is done promoting Inception and can start focusing on Batman 3.

Looks like it will be the last one, certainly with Nolan at the helm anyway.

He also referred to the possibility of a Superman crossover:

Agreed. It's odd though, because weren't we sort of under the impression that he was a possibility for taking on the inevitable Justice League movie? I thought that was mentioned not that long ago.

I don't know, I would imagine that Nolan would deny something until it is a certainty, or at least until the Superman movie proves to be successful. DC must be itching to follow Marvel's lead; no disrespect to Marvel, but I think if you asked people which crossover they'd most like to see it's pretty obvious which would come out on top.

Justice League movie would only make sense if we have successful franchises starting with the new Superman, and Green Lantern films.

If they all succeed as much as DC wants then maybe way down the road we can have a live action Justice League film.

YAY. I am so glad Nolan will not be crossing over the movies. I warn all, If the cross overs happen with the universe they created with the new Batman films it will =FAIL. Genral public would not accept a flying alien going around in Nolans Batman.

I for one personaly feel that there should never be a crossover film. It's wierd because I am a huge comic fan. But thats just it. I think the crossing over belong in comics not Movies. The films should focus on creating its own universe with the protagonist as it's only super hero in the world. Thats it. When the cross overs happen the individual films loose there magic. Now I don't know if anyone agrees with me but when I am watching Nolans Batman univers. I like to believe he is the only hero in the entire world. Thinking there are other superhoes outside of Gotham just ruins it for me.

For me JLA should have different actors and be set in it's own universe. And Yes I am also against The Avengers. I think they are going to ruin Iron Man with the addition of non realistic characters aka Thor. So the producers expect me to believe that a thunder god is actually existing in Iron Mans world. Hmmm maybe again I am the only one who feels this way.

I agree with you completely. Even Nolan has said Superman's universe will be set completely separate from all other DC characters.

Meaning he will be alone and only superhero just like Batman.

Always wondered how characters like the Hulk and Thor would mix with Iron-Man or even Cap. Hopefully they make all the individual movies for each hero so good that when the Avengers comes out the audience can just enjoy them together as a team rather than focusing on each hero or villain.

I can't wait to see where the movie takes a turn at. My guess it's going to be epic as hell but it's pretty easy to figure that out.

They need harley quinn in the movie. It would be a good story for her. I think she takes revenge on batman for locking up the joker. I would love to see her. I only see her in the cartoon show movies and batman game.

Why would not the public accept Superman? If he saving them from alien invasions they will accept him. Besides he won't be fighting crime in Gotham City, he will be fighting crime in Metropolis, people who accept Superman.

I never said they wouldn't accept Superman in his own movie. I am simply talking about crossovers.

huh. We understand that there is not going to be a crossover. Thats why I am so happy. My posts are in regards to people who are dissapointed that there will not be one. Clark Kent lives in Metropolis but why would an aien invasion focus only on the city? Superman is a global hero that lives his day to day life in Metropolis so most of his smaller acts are in Metropolis.

before TDK was out we all knew that The Joker was going to be the main villain but this time everyone is assuming Riddler but in all honesty, we really dont know till Nolan says something

Not to mention TDK was such a monumental film for comic book movies and imo movies in general, its interesting to see how Nolan will follow up.
