War of the Vampires--Battle of the chosen ones

This is a book i have been writing that i will now release to the public and see how you like it. Also this book has some things of the vampire book series CIRQUE DU FREAK So it would be good to have back knowledge of those but IT ISN'T REQUIRED I will post it chapter by chapter. And I will be happy by any comments good or bad.

INTRODUCTION




My name is Adam Winslow, and I like Vampires. I watched nearly every movie about them out there and don't get me started on vampire books. But, if it came down to it, my favorite vampire genre would have to be Cirque Du Freak. I just really like the way Darren Shan tells his story maybe, a little to much.
I have read all the books in the Cirque Du Freak series about three times. I also got one of my best friends into the series, T.J. Grant. T.J. is kind of short for his age(thirteen). He is about four feet, three inches tall with sandy blond hair. He is also very skinny, which is kind of funny because the rest of his family is fat.
My other best friend is James Nickel. He is eleven years old and about the same height as T.J. He also has sandy blond hair like him but dyed it dark blue. He had already read the first book of the series before I met him but, he knows everything because of me and T.J. Who is only on the tenth.
I always thought the series was cool and wished I lived it. If I knew my wish was going to come true, I would have wished for a cute, harmless kitty cat.

Chapter 1

I wake up to my cell phones annoying ring. I flip the top up and the answer key then say hello. No one answers.
"Hello." Nothing. "Hello," I say even louder this time. Again nothing. "Fine screw off-," I stop. I just remembered I set my alarm to wake me up. "I'm smart," I say sarcastically.
I get out of bed and get dressed in my white T-shirt and dark blue pants. All the clothes I have consist of white T-shirts, dark blue pants, ankle length socks, and snow man boxers. It's Very repetitive.
I spray myself down with old spice and go upstairs into the kitchen. My grandma is currently in there cooking breakfast, I say hi, then walk into the family room where my brother Max is watching cartoons.
Max is nine. He has glasses and dark brown hair like me but, he likes to where different color shirts.
Max and I live with our grandma, we also have two uncles living with us also making things very crowded, because our dads dead and my mom is in prison.
I also have a half brother and sister but, they live with my aunt so I don't get to see them very often. My half brothers name is Andrew. He is two year old pain everyone says, but he doesn't misbehave around me. My half sister is Rachel. She is four.
I ask max if he wants to go outside and play football but, like always, he says no.
Fine, be a lazy retard then," I say picking up the eleventh Cirque Du Freak book that I left sitting upstairs.
"Shut up," Max retorts without emotion because he is transfixed in his cartoon. I flip through my book studying the fine points. I close my eyes, then flip to a random page. I open my eyes and read the first word I see. Blood. How nice. I do it again. Death. How Ironic. I do it for a third time. Vampirites.
A crazy, childish idea flares up inside me. What if I started a vampire clan? It would be cool to make weapons, duel each other, and do the trials (test for vampires.) I felt like Christmas had come early.
