I really want to see that chelsea game...I can't stand not being able to see these games. I bought a UEFA.com subscription just so I can watch the champions league games (I now have the pleasure of watching the worst feed imaginable on my 14" monitor), but there are so many other games (e.g. Carling Cup) that I wish I could see here in the US. If anyone has any pointers about watching soccer in the US, let me know.

I have Direct TV and bought these colombian channels; caracol, rcn. Also have GolTV on it. Thats how I watch my games. ESPN sometimes very rarely shows games from Serie 1.

I'm putting my money on Real, Liverpool, Man U, Inter, Lyon, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Milan

Also, please put any scores or spoilers about the game in tags as I will not be able to watch until tonight/tomorrow

well sucks that Barca and Real are out. I think this Champions League goes to Manchester.

Watched El Clasico today between Barcelona and Real Madrid. 3-3. Very good game, very good. Messi man, one word, wow.

Well, I think I ended up 5/8...not too bad. It sucks that Barca is out even though they won their game, but I wanted Liverpool to go through anyway, so it's fine by me.

I don't think Man U can get there. I think they will be upset by Roma. I think Liverpool v Chelsea in the semi's might just happen. That would be an immense game. PSV shouldn't be too much of a problem for us, I think we can beat them 2-0 is my hopeful prediction for the away leg.

I wasn't far wrong with my prediction.

I think Valencia will beat Chelsea and Roma will beat Man U. It's all poised for a Liverpool v AC Milan final AGAIN!!! That would be so sweet!

I still think Man U will make it through Roma. It looked to me like Valencia played the better game, but it was still very close; I can't call that one. PSV looked terrible against Liverpool.

To be fair I think Liverpool just plain outclassed PSV. They're one of the most formidable teams in Europe, PSV where always going to have a tough time. But 0-3 at home is a bad defeat.

It was embarrassing to watch at times, and any team that embarrasses ronald koeman is OK with me...

HOLY CRAP. MAN U are a bunch of basturds! 7-1 That was just awesome. Allot of respect to them tonight, even as a Liverpool fan. I was disappointed Chelsea got through. I'm not looking forward to a semi-final rematch. I can see red cards and not many goals.

Don't forget Ryan Giggs. He was the catalyst to the whole team. They wouldn't have won by nowhere near as many without him. He's a footballing genius that's very underrated.

Why did we combine football and soccer into the same thread? They're two completely different sports. That's just silly.

I could go on for a long time and explain why that comment is so, so wrong. Buty I won't.

Although.............. Americans renamed FOOTBALL to "Soccer" because you invented a game and decided to call it Football because it sounded good. You then renamed the ORIGINAL sport of FOOTBALL to Soccer and it is only recognized in the Americas by this name. So in fairness they are the same sport but one of the names of this sport is total bollocks. and you should rename your sport "THROWBALL"

Sorry, I'm just being an antagonist.
