I haven't been around in awhile, so I guess I missed a lot of CS Board events, drama, and all that good stuff that makes us come back everytime we do. Maybe there's been a thread like this I missed, maybe there hasn't, but here is one from me anyways. This thread is to post some good, bad, funny, or whatever memories of members or posts of the Boards from last century all the way to this morning.

I'm gonna start off with LOTR. Does anyone remember that guy? His speling was allways bad liike this. I think he ended up getting banned, but his posts used to bust me up. Everyone RAGGED on that guy. I wonder where he is at today.

Yeah, I remember LOTR. My post may be low, but as you can see from my join date I've been here a while - and I was a lurker for 6 months before that.

I also remember JPDill and his numerous aliases. He's the guy who just "knew" everything about future Star Wars ventures. Reminds me of "SuperShadow" now that I think of it.

I also remember JEDI5150 a.k.a. JEDI_THE_WHITE. He once had a little inside info and milked it for over a year, making false claims of knowledge. He lied to a lot of people, several of whom then turned around and said "it's okay to lie to me if you're a friend, so I forgive him". He never apologized (which IMHO is almost all he would have needed to do to redeem himself) and for all we know simply changed his name and is still here.

I forget the name, but there was a hilarious guy who briefly posted fake picutres in the Star Wars forums claiming they were "inside info" - not only were they very obviously fake, but he made ridiculous claims with all sincerity. For example, he once posted "production photos" from SW 7, 8, and 9, saying they were all already wrapped and had secretly been in production for years - until he broke the story with his pictures that looked like stick figures in paint.

My memory for names isn't that good. I kept trying to remember JPDill for the CS nominees. Could remember his presence, but not his silly names.

Oh dear, another nostalgia thread.

I remember the first nostalgia thread...where we would talk about Jedi Knight, Superman and even SnakeEyesND...the very first person to be banned on CS, for arguments pertaining the future rating of M:I 2...but that was a long time ago. *sniff*

Ahhh, yes, the old Star Wars, LOTR, and *cough* Matrix boards. People would hop between boards to talk crap about the other franchise. My favorite argument that was always being brought up was the concept of which franchise is "more epic" than the other. People would get very animated with that..."Noob, The Matrix is WAY more EPIC than Star Wars and LOTR because the whole world is hangs in the balance", and "You fuxorz Star Wars is more EPIC because several WORLDS hang in the balance".....etc, etc, etc.....
