Exclamation Van Helsing 2?

Has anyone wondered if there will be a Van Helsing 2? No. 1 was a brilliant movie and I loved every moment of it, but if there was a no. 2, would it ruin it for me or will it make the movie even better? It can't be the end seeing as the Frankenstein Monster was on a raft away from death and has to be running into something soon? Van Helsing is an old character and it would be good if there were series of the movie afterwards, wouldn't it?

Comment on it so I can see what you think of a Van Helsing Sequel?!

Wont happen, it was a mess and it hardly made any profit.

I'd see it. It wasn't as bad as people always complain about. If they fixed some crappy writing, then this could be a good little franchise.

I also did a little investigating into the profits (before DVD sales). According to box office mojo the production and marketing budgets were $210 million combined, and the worldwide sales take was over $300 million. I'd say they made more than "barely profitable" with this movie. $90 million isn't a bad take for a movie.

No, please no. The first film was not very good at all and a second would only be worse.

The first film was a fun popcorn flick imo. But, I don' think that it deserves a sequal.

I felt that it was awful and they must be really out of their minds if they want to create a sequel.

Sommers wants to make the sequel with the Creature from the Black Lagoon so don't be surprised if and when it happens.

I liked it. I thought it was a fun "Leave your brain at the door" kind of movie. I would go see a sequel

i heard he was doing a Flash Gordon movie too, he'd been hired to write it.

Summers should be told that SFX alone doesnt make a movie.

I can see a possible straight to dvd movie being made. But Hugh Jackman will have anything to do with it.

It may have made money, but I doubt all those people will be fooled a second time round.

I didn't really care for the first one. For having non stop action in the movie it was pretty boring. I say no to a sequel

There has to be a sequel one day or maybe a prequel. They left the movie to open at the end not to have that in mind. I'd say they may not do it for a while so they can do a good script. Let me say Van Helsing was better then alot of trash that came out this year.

All I can think about when I think Van Helsing is that horrifically cheesy face in the clouds ending. Lets leave it at that shall we.

I thought it could have been better too, but I didn't think it was a complete disaster. I kept wondering though which creatures would really be left for a sequel. The blue lagoon almost seems a little too Scooby Doo to me.

Its black lagoon. How do we not know that Dracula was the only man to make a deal to be a vampire. He could always pop up in the Mummy as really old Van Helsing. There is always the origin of the first wolf man. Like i said they could do a prequel. There is always an idea that could happen. By the way is anyone a Joss Whedon fan. He would have made a great V/H movie. Is anyone going to check out Serenity. It looks good.

Seems kinda strange to have a prequel to just one movie, but I guess it could work.

Hmph. At least it wouldn't be another two hours of watching Kate Beckinsale get her ass kicked by EVERYONE in the damn movie. My friends and I couldn't stop laughing because every fight involved her getting her scrawny little butt thrown around. VH wasn't scary, it was hilarious!

I thought it wasn't scary either. Not that the Mummy and Mummy Returns were either. Lets just say that this director likes humor in his movies. I likeed this movie but his best still is Mummy one. I said yes real loud in the theators when Kate Beckinsale was offed by the werewolf van hesling. I thought it was cool.

The first was OK in my opinion. Whould I see a sequel? Probably not, the ending explains it all.

I've seen crappier.. I didnt expect much from the movie. I wasnt dissapointed. I think it was a fun movie. I loved the monsters and the special effects was cool. I would like to see some more monsters and see him kick some ass.

I wasn't expecting to come from the movie a different person or feel like it was going to be anything big. I would even maybe take a date to a movie to see it. It's a fun action movie. That's all. It wasnt trying to be anything more then that.
