One of my all-time fav movies is JC's 'The Thing', so I welcome back the slimey gore effects. Should be a great movie, though it may be hard to get my friends to see it with me.

Ah well, it looks like it's going to be NC-17, so that means it'll keep the wannabe stand-up comedians out of the theatre, which is only another thing to love about the movie.

Doesn't look scary IMO, just looks gory. I wouldn't think this would become an all time classic just judging from the trailer, but who knows. I'll probably see it.
