Default Statham, Sobieski and Rhys-Meyers in a Uwe Boll Flick????

Jason Statham and Leelee Sobieski are set to headline the cast of director Uwe Boll's $60 million adaptation of the sword-and-sorcery video game Dungeon Siege, which begins filming Sunday in Vancouver until mid-September.

Also starring are Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as Norick, Farmer's friend; Matthew Lillard ("Scooby-Doo" films) as Duke Fallow; Burt Reynolds (The Longest Yard) as King Konreid; and Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) as Elora, an enchanted tree-like creature whose support proves critical to Farmer.

No Jason...you kick a$$....why a Uwe Boll film........

This sounds like it would be a real winner no matter who directs it.

Obviously, you have never seen any of Uwe Boll's movies. Go check out Alone In The Dark or House Of The Dead, then you'll see that this movie is doomed.

How is it Boll can get all those decent actors and 60 million dollars for a movie? I'm betting he has a billionaire in his family who just gives him money to keep him happy.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!

HOW the HELL is this possible?!?!?!

Beware people...this is one fine demonstration of what money can do with your mind...all the way from actors to producers.

I most definately liked Alone In The Dark, well done Dr Uwe Boll sir!. House Of The Dead was ok, but not as good as AITD is.

I look forward to Far Cry, Bloodrayne, and what ever else it is you decide to do in the future.
Congratulations on making a decent video game to movie adaption with AITD, nice one! großes Grinsen.

Keep it up!.

Remember the legions of terrible Ed Wood-esque films in the 50s and 60s?

I believe we are entering another era of this thanks to Uwe Boll.

No.This cant be true. I mean Perlman, Statham, Rhys-Meyers are some of my favorite actors. Uwe Boll is in Ed Wood territory. He must be shot.

I agree but the huge difference is 60 million dollars. The satkes are a lot higher than back in those days.

Actors seriously need to do their homework before signing onto a film.

I bet that the TOTAL GROSS of all of Uwe Boll's films do not even equal the total gross profit of Pulp Fiction.

i like a lot of those actors (statham and perlman especially) bgut uwe boll sucks the big one. who the hell keeps giving him projects? As much as i am against blacklisting i think we must to stop Boll: Paul WS Anderson and Stephen Somers.
