America would be going it alone if they attack Iran, I cant see bush doing that though surely hes not that stupid.

Secondly - I dont care if Iran gets the bomb. Why shouldnt they, they arent going to aim it at me and besides seems like everyone around them already has it - Israel, India, pakistan, china.

I agree with you there, I think we going to see the beginning of WWIII and everyone that I have talked to seems to think so as well. This could be a big mistake for the U.S. to go in and attack Iran. But I know that it will happen anyway.

Before there is an invasion of Iran, we likely will hit with cruise missiles, bombing, covert ops, etc.
If those don't work (and they won't) then we'll go in with whatever troops are left.
Robot is right, though. If Iran gets the bomb, it will target Israel first, then everybody else.

Does any US citizen asks himself why they could be treaten by Irans nuclear bomb? I as a European am not scared at all, they can have whatever others were allowed to, and as a country with largest arsenal in the world like USA (who uses their weapons for attacking other countries more than all other countries combined) shouldnt point their finger at anyone for getting the same. If US government would keep their noses inside of USA and not tell or force other countries and people to do as they wish, they probably wouldnt have to be scared of everyone....

There are no troops left.

If america did strike iran they would not have the support of the brits or anyone else appart from PERHAPS the aussies - but only coz they love a scrap.

America would probably attack those 'strategic' targets from afar using 'pinpoint' accuracy, civilian (sorry non-combatants) casualties will probably be kept to the 10s of thousands (in the first couple of weeks anyway.) China fearing that it would be next in Americas wave of anti-terror (and it would be) would step in and threaten to use its nukes in a pre-emptive strike on the american aggresors. (this is about the same point all hell breaks loose)

Politically there is absolutelly no reason for America to attack Iran (unless the conspiracy nuts are right about the jews running the white house)

In all seriousness if iran was attacked and I had to pick sides - i'd pick irans.

This is not about some random decision. This is a country with perhaps the largest track record of terrorist activity in the modern era. Does everyone remember when they attacked and burnt down the U.S. embassy there and took American hostages? This country tops the list in state sponsor of terrorism. Could you imagine what would happen if they let a terrorist get hold of a nuclear bomb? This country can NOT have nuclear power.
