Question Has anyone else noticed.........

...........that movies are starting to come out quicker on DVD after they have been released in theaters? Usually it takes around 5-6 months for a movie to come out on DVD after its theatrical release, but lately I've seen movies like Hero, the spongebob movie, Napolian Dynamite(I think), and I know there are others coming out much sooner(3-4 months). Anyway, I just thought this was an interesting topic to bring up. If all movies start coming to DVD quicker, then that will be great.

I think that it is good they movies are being released a lot quicker. You don't have to wait as long to own them. People say that the DVDs are going to suck because they are being released a lot quicker. I don't think so because they obvoisly can make them good a lot quicker than before.

It varies, and it probably depends on what studio does them.

I don’t mind them coming out soon, but I don’t like it when they come out ridiculously soon and the movie dosn't get enough time to be in the theaters. They should take their time and make the DVD the best it can be without rushing it.

Yes it did.

I think most christmas themed movies take a year to be released because most people dont buy christmas dvd's in June.

George Michael: Well, I think even the anti-drug people are going to be okay with that.
