Default Pendragon Pictures War of the Worlds.

Just like to note that the other War of the Worlds Production by Pendragon Pictures has put up its first poster to War of the Worlds.

Check it out over at www.eveofthewar.com here

Way to go on promoting your site

Anyhow, I'll see this WotW too. It would be great if it really is an authentic adaptation of the book.

I'm not sure about this version - looks very amateur.

Are they actually going ahead with it? I hadn't heard anything from them in a long time. Biggest problem is that I'm not sure if Pendragon Pictures really has the budget to pull off an authentic 1890s WotW.

Yes they are. You can see teasers at their site, as well as the stills.

I was wondering about the budget too. I read somewhere that it's supposed to be $42 millions, though I doubt that.

Well it will be better judge this film when the theatrical trailer is released later this month. The trailer will feature the first FX shots and actions scenes from the film. I was speaking via email to a bloke called Rowbes who worked in the minatures department on this film and he seemed very enthusiastic and proud about what they have created.

I look forward to seeing this film on the 30th March.

The trailer was very corny looking, but since Spielberg's directing I'l give this one a chance

How brilliant is the War of the Worlds Musical. THe film version of that in CG animation is set for a 2007 release, and will be directed Jeff Wayne.

This is totally fantastic! Why are we bothering with the Speilberg ID4 Part 2 version? Or the cheapass Pendragon one?

Wrong version - Spielberg is doing the Paramount one - this is for the Pendragon.

LMFAO!!!!!!.
Naaa that Mrs Elphinstone, played by Jamie Lynn Sease. I havnt heard of her also, lol.
How cool is the second teaser to Pendragons War of the Worlds? One of the people says 'Prepare yourself and your supplies. I will see you on the frontline on March 30th 2005'. In an Australian voice, how god dam lame.

I cant wait to see this. Its gonna be a cult classic.

The first proper theatrical trailer to this film is coming out Thursday the 6th January. It will include the first FX shots from the film, and hopefully a tripod. I just hope they can do a reasonable job with the FX.

I aint gonna judge it until i see what the are fully capable off. The budget is quite big for an indie film. Around $47 million. The photos and clips shown so far are not from completed shots i think.

I think that is proberly the only completed shot.
