Smile With the huge success of Polar Express 3D

as compared to the 2D version, a 3D IMAX version of Peter Jackson's KING KONG would be a promising angle. "Polar" is likely to do $125,000,000 now that
it is closing in on Christmas, and a 3D DVD release would put it in the black next year. It can also go into a small 1000 screen 3D Christmas release next
year for say 4 weeks. New 6 perf 35mm technology could bring "IMAX JR. 3D"
to everybody's local multi-cienema, should they go that route. Cameron is
doing Battle Angel for $200 million next year in 3D! Could be the start of
something big for 3D stereoscopic format! Polar is doing twelve times as
well per screen in 3D, and it is almost to the $85 million mark, and back in second place according to the tracking charts. That almost NEVER happpens!
