I will be interesting to see what will change in the gap...especially to Bran, Jon and Arya

plus...has anything happened to Davros cause they said something about sacraficing a man so that stannis could get to the wall in time?

My theory is that Bran will be a bad-ass mage or some sort, Jon will be an excellent commander (And I'm really hoping we can find out more about his past!) and Arya will be a very bad-ass faceless man. And I'm also really interested in Sansa, and she I think will leanr to play the game of thrones.
And as for Davos, if you're done with all of A storm of swords, you know as much as I.

Hm...that could be. But I have doubts that Dragonstone will be attacked. The attackers would probably go for Stannis rather than his home. Though if he were captured it might actually make his story interesting, something not in the first books.
And I'm trying to remember, what exactly was happening in his story in the end of book three?

Yeah, I'll miss Jon, Dany, and Bran a lot. I wish he had included all the characters, even if he had to cut some of their chapters and include it in a later book.

Jon was made Lord comander but Stannis had offered him Winterfall, Tyron had escaped and "The Wench" briene was out to seach for Sansa, a fake Arya was being married to one of the Dornes, Bran had gone through the Nighs gate, stannis was re maning all the old Nights watch tower, old lady Lysa had been throwed out the moon door and peter had cracked on to Sansa, lady catline is alive and with the free riders still faithfull to King Robert, yellow cloak and all that lot and Dany had decided to stay in the westero's for the time being to rule the free cities

I think that is everything

Ah, thanks. It's been a while since I've read those, and I would like to again before they come out, but it's being released too close to Harry Potter. I'm reading those again, and won't have time to read the books again in the days after I finished HBP.

I atleast, have the advantage of being a fairly fast reader, but why is it that for years none of my most highly anticipated books have come out, until now, when they both come out, practically at the same time...For several days, I won't be able to do anything but read!

Greg Keyes is coming out with a new book? I had no idea! Is this another in the Kingdom of Thorn and Blood? And if so, what's the release date?

The wheel of time is about a coming apocolypse at the hands of the Dark One, a thing with magic of sorts. The only person who can stop him is the Dragon Reborn, who is destined to break the world to save it. And that is a very short summary, there is much more to the books than that. But I add a disclaimer, because there are ten books, will be around 12 books, they're very long, and I think the books have only gotten worse as the series have gone on.

Might be a good plan. The books are long, confusing, and there are thousands of really annoying women who only deserve death.

Probably a good plan. I'm kind of overloading on books.

Well, now that I'm almost done with chemistry, I will shortly have a lot of time on my hands. Maybe I'll finally get to catch up....

I think it's great news that we're just getting another book. Kind of disappointing in what it will leave out? Sure, but for those of us that have been trudging around the fantasy aisle for months and years looking for someone as good as Martin, it's worth it.

If anyone wants a quick refresher course on the books, I reccomend this site. . .

http://members.aol.com/vbkorik27/main.html

The chapter summaries are great. I'll probably be going over it a day or so before Crows comes out.

Well, he mentioned a few places on his website but then he also said that more than that, he wouldn't say. But from the ones he did list, I would guess Arya, (if she's going to Westeros) Sansa, Cersei, possibly Jaime, and maybe Theon's Uncle the drowned priest. So yeah, other than those five possibilites, I really can't think of anymore who would be included.

These books truly do kick butt. When i read them recently, i could nto believe the depth and detail they go in, but yet read so smooth and enthrall all at the same time.

When i started, i didnt realize the series was long from being done, but i cannot wait to continue the story.

Amazon has gone and changed the release date. They're now saying it's going to be released November 8th! So irritating...
