Raging Bull 2-Disc SE! Finally!

MGM Home Entertainment has announced a new collector's edition of Raging Bull which stars Robert De Niro. This two-disc set will be available to own from the 14th December this year, and should set you back somewhere in the region of $29.98. The film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen along with both English Dolby Digital 5.1 and Stereo Surround tracks. Extras will include a new audio commentary by director Martin Scorsese and editor Thelma Schoonmaker, a cast and crew commentary, a storytellers commentary, a Before the Fight: The Writing and Casting of Raging Bull documentary and a Inside the Ring: The Making of Raging Bull documentary. Completing the package will be a featurette entitled After the Fight: Creating a Classic, another new documentary entitled The Bronx Bull, a La Motta Defends Title feature, a De Niro vs. La Motta feature and the films original theatrical trailer. We have attached some low quality shots of the artwork below, but we'll bring you some highres shots shortly.

that is indeed wonderful news,Martin Scorsese is the god of the audio commentary. I'd buy the pokemon movie if it had a Scorsese commentary track

Sounds great. There's also a new Scorsese Box Set coming from MGM with this, a new SE of New York, New York, and the existing editions of Boxcar Bertha and The Last Waltz.
