Default Harry Potter Director's Cut

What's the longest time you've ever spent shooting a scene?

CR: The longest scene I've ever shot was on this first film. It was the scene with Peeves the Poltergeist. We shot it in Gloucester Cathedral cloisters.

Sadly it never made it to the final take although I hear Chris Columbus is going to be making a director's cut. In which it will be reinstated.

Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley, recently stated this in an online chat. Better get ready to sell those HP DVDS for used sales. Because the director's cut is coming!

I really didn't think that much of SS or CoS so I'm not particularly excited.

the only way i would be SS directors cut, is if they did the same with the other films as well.

then yeah i'd buy it. but they would have to be a good amount of new scenes.

not jut one scene.

i am! i think it's pretty cool news. after seeing SS on tv last month, with the extra scenes added in, i thought it made the movie blend better.

i'll buy them when they come out for sure.

thanks for the heads up!

I'll get it, I just hope they do this with the rest of the series as well.

yeah ,really. They had a bunch of other deleted scenes too. What makes this one so special? I doubt I'd buy it, but I might borrow a friends copy just so I could see Peeves.

I think they will put more than just Peeves and they have their reasons for cutting stuff, I don't know what they were but they must have had them.

it will have been for time constraints....i really doubt that they ran out of money

They had to keep the film to a cirtain running time
