What do you think?

Anyone see that piece of crap, Reign of Fire? Where Matthew McConaughey played the American Marine. Put him back in the gym, have him grow the beard back out, put about 15-30 lbs of muscle on him, I think he would be perfect.

They really need to make a Thor movie. I think it would be a hell of a fun flick.

Just a horrible read and just not interesting.

Imo, Of course.

Altho , Jurgens has put the best writing on Thor Since The Simonson days.

There is already a Thor movie...

As Snik already mentioned, he is a cool looking guy and I used to read many of his comics as a kid but he isnt really something I would like to see in a movie...

Thor is based on a lot of Norse mythology. Personally, I find that really interesting.

good possibilities here, but easily lend to parody in the wrong hands..

Personally, i'd like to see an animated treatment..

if not, they have to go with the Lord of the Rings style..

How could Matthew McConaughey have looked exactly like Thor in Reign of Fire? McConaughey's character was bald, whereas Thor has long blonde hair. Do you think he looked like him just because he used an axe that might resemble Thor's hammer to some people, because I don't see it?

Because he was big, buff, blonde, bearded, and played the role with the fire and intensity of Thor.

I love Norse mythology and I think it would be cool to see the old-fashioned honorable Thor in the modern world. Thor just kicks ass. Plain and simple.
