I dont know. Every time I see a stand carrying comics, I see Archie there. I used to read them all the time until I hit about 14 years old. I think kids still dig Archie. Dont see it being a huge success or anything though.

Go check out the Comic book cast a character game in the comics forums.
We had some great casting choices for Archie , Betty & Veronica. Frankie Munitz was the winner for Archie. And back on topic, Archie is a huge seller and many "older" people buy the digests. If you people think Archie is a dead property then you are wrong. Archie has been an institution in comics, TV, Music, etc. The character has been around since the 1940's, and is Much more popular than this thread has given him credit for. The Betty & Veronica movie will be funny because they are doing it Like Josie and The PussyCats , very tongue in cheek , I actually can't wait till some new info on that unfolds. |
