When you say Back to the Future 3, I assume you mean Back to the Future 4, and Back to the Future 4 is an officially, completely and permanently dead project.

As much as I loved the back to the future trilogy. Im glad it stayed as a trilogy because there is really nothing else to do with the franchise. it ended well and it should stay that way.

THE HOWLING (Comments ?) - There seems to be a spate of remakes of '80s horror movies; this one might actually get made as well, although I haven't heard anything definite on it.

IAM LEGEND: "THE LAST MAN ON EARTH" (Comments ?)- Director Matthieu "Gothika" Kassovitz has expressed interested in this. Schwarzenegger was attached to this at one time, but obviously is no longer.

INDIANA JONES 4 (Comments ?) - Frank Darabont turned in a script to George Lucas, but Lucas had some problems with it. There will be another writer hired for this; obviously that will delay the start of the movie. Spielberg, Lucas and Ford all remain committed to doing it sooner or later.

OLD YELLER (Comments ?) - What, are you kidding?

SHANGRI-LA: THE LOST HORIZON (Comments ?) - I've heard some rumblings on this one...nothing definite yet.

2, 000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (Comments ?) - Disney was actually looking at doing this as a full-length animation (well, 20,000 Leagues anyway), but who knows what they're up to now.

even though johnny depp has signed on for willy wonker i read on counting down.com that tim burtonj was gunna direct a short of horror remake and marilyn manson playing willy wonker

I read somewhere that it's actually going to be a Fright Night remake, not a sequel. Which in my mind is outrageous because ... no, it's just not right. Give the film another ten years or twenty before remaking it.

back to the future: i think if there would ever be a remake of this in 10 years, or however many (which i seriously doubt BUT...) i think the kid from the OC would play marty, watch the similarties between the two, even some of the facial expressions are the same when they get angry, the only thing the OC kid would need to change is to open up.... then again who would play the doc... that's my 2 cents anyways.
