Here's my possible lists:

Back to the Future box set

or

Jaws
A Futurama Season
Indiana Jones box set
A Red Dwarf Season

Hmmm, I'm not sure exactly what DVD's I would get, but thats definitly what I would spend my $150.00 on. The only thing that comes to the top of my mind right now is the Mr. Bean boxed set of all episodes, and the Band of Brothers boxed set.

Alot of the same thoughts I had. But unfortunately there's no Evil Dead trilogy in Australia - I've only see the first one on DVD.

The 3 terminator movies are a good idea, but I thought I would wait until they come in a box set, hopefully including both original and special edition versions, like with the Alien Quad (is there a box set for Terminator in the US yet?).

Yeah I realized there isnt an official "trilogy" well not to my knowledge at least (evil dead) but here you can buy em hella cheap enough to basically have the cost of a boxset.

that and the terminator one were intended for a "perfect world" kinda thing as if they had already came out with box sets.

as for the evil dead, I suggest you see the second and army of darkness. a lot of it kinda doesnt make sense due to rights issues between movies but ED 2 is probably one of the greater B movies of the century.

I was wondering if you would interpret my post like that. I have seen all the Evil Dead movies (and love 'em), but have only seen the first one available on DVD here in Australia.

Anyone who says EDII doesn't make any sense hasn't figured the beginning out yet. It's a simple explanation...and then suddenly everything clicks.

EDII is the best, IMO. Best sequence in the series -- attaching the chainsaw.

"Groovy."

Ive made sense of em all I was just warning inferno to the fact that newbs may not get it. of course, he isnt a newb but anywho.

Yes, ED has inspired me to do those over the top "piecing montages" in my flicks. maybe.

Still a great effect. especially with the over exagerrated sound effects.
