So...

An Ode to Conan (NOT the barbarian)

late one night
when it was pouring
i should of been dead,
i mean,
asleep and snoring,
i turned on the tube
i felt so boring...
CBS, ABC--
ah, i wished it was morning!
then i switched to channel 4
my eyes were drooping
but i wanted more...
more of that late night talk--
that woke me up,
and i spilled my cup.

i saw a man
with a hill of red hair
how interesting, i thought,
so i had to stare.
this man was huge--
tall like a giant.
the clock ticked one
but i sat up, defiant.

the words he spoke
were oh, so clever;
they tickled my ribs
like would a feather.
he was so funny
i watched, amazed.
i laughed and laughed,
no time for haze.

it was cool how he
teased the audience;
they laughed along
with their new prince-
of foolery and wisecracks too
each joke brought laughs-
no need to cue.

It's like Conan O' Brien
is a show in himself;
i could watch him string dance
for months,
all by myself.

I love how he says,
"Keep cooool, my babies!"
Its excites all the men
and turns on the ladies.
Maybe his hair trick is the coolest?
(pause)
He whips it here and there;
From any form, it fixes
tidy mountains, note the flare?

He is too cool for words.
he's the funnest host on that block.
Man oh man, Conan, Conan...
booyyy? you really rock!!!

I can't get over how FUNNY this guy is!! He's the BEST out there, (in my opinion) hehe...don't get me wrong, I like Jay and Letterman too, but no one and i mean, NO ONE can crack a joke that causes national sensation like Conan Christopher O' Brien. Just watch the first ten minutes of his show and you'll see what i mean! not even ten! FIVE!!! he is jus so damn funny! He used to write for The Simpsons and SNL...(if u didn't know that already

) Remember that time he performed (a parody) of a great song/dance production at the Emmy's last year?? THAT WAS SOOOO HILARIOUS!!! they stopped him right before he got the chance to sing, saying they were running behind on time. And Conan was all flustered and disappointed...hehe it was so sad but SOOO funny!!! (course it was all part of the act :p )

I love this man!!! i watch HIS show the most. I love his string dance and his hair-whip trick!! it's sooo sexy! lol jk...ok well maybe the string dance kinda is (lol, you decide if i'm joking or nottt!!) hahaha...he never hesitates to banter at the expense of his guests, or of the audience or even HIMSELF!!! that is what makes him SOOO GREAT!!!!

And i wish more networks showed reruns of "Late Night with Conan 'O Brien" like Comedy Central does. (or is it E!) well nehow, THEY NEED TOOO!!! Conan always jokes about how no big stars ever come on his "poor" lame show, but OH MY!!! they do! and oh my!! they always come back for more! Conan? YOUR SHOW ROCKS!!! when are you gonna have orlando bloom on?!! hahaha.."keep cool, my babies. Keep cool." ::wink wink::

He's wonderful! He's my favorite of all the late night guys. I voted for I like everything about him, but my favorite thing has to be his height. He's so big, gawky and awkward. It's great.

My favorite Conan ever was the one with Andy talking about leaving the show and only having a little bit of time left with them and they start laughing in slo-mo and max pull out a gun and wastes Andy. Then Conan kills off Max and looks at the camera and says "We ahve a great show tonight!"
Classic greatness.
I do wish Andy would come back though.

I always loved the staring competitions between Conan and Andy. Remember the one where Conan and Andy's parents appear naked together......then Max joins them!

Really wish they would start showing of the classic early shows in Australia. It's only on cable here, which i've had only for about 4-5 years.

It airs twice during the day on Comedy Central. Or do you not have CC or illegal DirecTV?
