What film do you truly think will win Best Picture?
I say ROTk, you just cannot pass LOTR by this time.

i chose lost in translation because i believe it to be the best of the year thus far (is house of sand and fog a 2003 release? haven't seen it yet if it is).
heard good things about american splendor heard great things about 21 grams. have yet to see either of those. |

And to Highfire: Yes, it is. Just came out yesterday, I believe, with Jennifer Connelly and Ben Kingsley. Apparently it's good, it's gotten rave reviews.

I've got a feeling Mystic River will win, but I've also got a feeling that it's gonna be a very close race this year. There's no real Chicago (unless Cold Mountain wins all or most of it's Golden Globe noms)

Although it doesnt deserve it ROTK will win, i think out of the nominees the last samurai deserves it, but i dont think it was the best this year, my choice is not a nominee.

I'm inclined to want Lost in Translation to win Best Picture, but I think they'll give it to Return of the King. Hopefully, Sofia Coppola will get Best Director.

i think Cold Mountain wins it. but i'd love to see ROTK win. but personally, i'd rather see PJ win best director then ROTK win best picture.
