OK. Been away for some time, and won't be back again for at least three weeks after this, so here's some things been on my mind, in quick, bite-sized, easy to digest nuggets of pearly wisdom
![]() Matrix Revolutions: Like Reloaded - too much glitz, bugger all content. The wrap-up of the whole story was A.LOAD.OF.BOLLOCKS. They should have quit while they were ahead after the first film, rather than going off on some Lucas-like binge of self-congratulatory cgi masturbation. A waste of polygons. League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Beautifully designed, pretty much unique rip-roaring romp. LOVED IT! Sawyer uncomfortably crowbar'd into the plot, and the 'Father/Son' relationship stuck out like an adult at a Britiny Spears concert, but despite trying to bugger it all up, they failed. Definitely a 'to buy' film when it comes out on DVD and :p to anyone who didn't like it.Bush's 'State visit' to the UK this week. Marginally worse than Matrix Revolutions. Hope you got to see the protests over there - estimated at between 70,000 and 200,000 protesters in London - the largest demonstration EVER in the capitol on a working day. This bloke is NOT popular over here despite his photo opportunities with the Queen and the pretty much equally unpopular Blair. Drop the Steel tarrifs that are illegal (and harming US industries just as much as ours btw), deal with the Guantanamo Bay prisoners legally rather than letting them rot in Cuba, don't give us this bollocks about 'illegal combatants' and 'not subject to US law because they're not on US territory'. If they were US 'combatants he'd be raising blue bloody murder by now. It's a case of do as I say, not as I do. And SIGN THE SODDING KYOTO AGREEMENT! If you lot 'vote' for him again, I'll personally come over there and kick every last ass that did so....oh, sorry, you didn't actualy vote him in in the first place did you - my mistake. ![]() If I think of anything else then I'll post it before I go. See? I'm so much more fun when I'm here, the boards were getting positively stagnant without me around ![]()

Well maybe not rule the world - I think that's the American's turn to play World Empire™
- but the English ARE the Rugby World Cup winners of 2003 which is just fine by me!!!!! ![]() George Bush is having afternoon tea with the Queen. GW: "Ma'm, I was wondering about changing the US of A into a Kingdom, what're your views on that?" Q: "Well, one is awfully sorry, but you'd have to be a King for that to happen I'm afraid" GW: "Darn it. Well, how about a Principality then?" Q: "Again I'm afraid one would have to be a Prince for that to happen" GW: "How about an Empire then Ma'm?" Q: "Unless I'm very much mistaken, you aren't an Emperor so that isn't possible either" GW: "Aww, gosh darnit Ma'm, what do you suggest then?" Q: "Well George, you seem to be doing pretty well as a country"

Hi guys! I'd love to be able to tell you all what I've been making these past months, but alas Warner Bros would have my balls if i told you (I know it's just us, and it's not like anyone else will ever be reading this, but..... ;p
). Suffice to say that it's all looking fantastic, you're going to LOVE the look of the thing (still distinctively Burton-esque), and I'm having a WONDERFUL time!!!! ![]() ![]() (with luck you'll even be able to see me 'in action' on the making-of section when the DVD comes out! You lucky people ).Sorry Southern, I'm still at the 'I Wish' stage on HP ![]() See ya all later dudes. LS
