Can you buy the collectors disk as a standalone at Best Buy or do you have to buy the console?

$29.99 (Canadian currency) @ Best Buy.

We got a fax from Nintendo today stating that the bonus disk will not just come inside the box "hard bundle", but that a "soft bundle" is available, which basically means you get the disk in its seperate casing outside of the box.

This is great news in that we received many copies of the game, which basically means you are not required to buy the console.

Hopefully this is happening at all stores

Angry

What I want to know is why isn't A Link to the Past on this disc?!!
That was the BEST old-school Zelda game ever. I can still play it on my emulator, but I'm kind of confused, as they have the two NES and two N64 zelda games, but not the SNES... wtf?

A link to the Past was originally an SNES game. **THE** SNES game.

Yup, and now it's available on the GBA... so if Nintendo is trying to sell it on the GBA, they're not going to give it out for free on the GC.
If someone wants A Link to the Past, they can get it for the Gameboy.
