When it came to light... I just couldn't believe it!!! Just the idea is an enormous chance to answer an ancient question: How did the Predator get the Alien skull?

In Predator 2 when hes in the predator space ship theres a skull of an alien or Xenomorph to be exact.

I think it would be interesting to watch which elements are going to preserve...
Would they refer both stories in the past? Predator at jungle? at civilization?
How did they get the Alien? Will be there the Queen?
At comingsoon.net we have read highlights of the script, but one never know it's the last word on it... :evil:

Somehow I doubt there will be any tie-in with Predator 2's skull and the AvP movie, explaining why the skull was there.

The Predators have come across the Alien species before, and have killed one. There's nothing more to explain.

Thats the whole idea on the AvP movie. The humans are using Alien eggs to lure Predators down to the planet, knowing that the Predators hunt them.

AvP will be a brand new franchise with brand new creatures. From what I have read from Dark Horizons, although I do not have the direct quote with me at the moment, there are going to be Alien/Predator hybrids along with the normal Aliens and Predators. Humans will also be involved and they will be packing some heavy duty artillery this time.

I think the whole plot of the AvP movie is a load of dung for a couple of reasons:
1) Predators are attracted to *heat*. Why the hell would they go to Antarctica???
2) The movie is set in or around the present, whereas the first real contact humans made with Aliens, according to the first film, was in 120 years time, with the Nostromo and it's crew...
