Default stunt double

is it just me, but if you take the shot frame by frame, doesn't it look like Neo suddenly becomes Oriental when he gets punched into the wall in the subway?

screw frame by frame, I noticed that instantly when I first played the trailer. they shoulda just had Keanu do it himself since it's a close-up. I mean, didn't he do it years ago at the beginning of Speed?

Read the other posts. No need to make an entire thread on this one little thing.

Stun doubles have been used since the begining of action movies, it's to be expected and I don't believe there is a single movie out there that is flawless, by definition....being it a movie and not reality.. screw ups are going to be there. However I don't consider noticing the highly talented and very underappreciated stutmen a goof up in the movie making process. And it certainly doesn't ruin my movie going experiance.

Yes, but these days it is SO EASY for these guys to simply put in the real actors face! Look at Jurassic Park: When the little girl droppes trough the seiling and hangs there with the raptor underneath on the ground.. It was a stuntgirl, and when she looked up you could see the stuntgirls face. To solve it they simply pasted the face of the actress on the stuntgirls and nobody noticed! And that was back in 1993!! I mean: it should be a simple job for them now a days right?!
So we have the right to B*tch and moan about it a little..

But when neo is hit and is flying back, yeah it's a stunt double but i think it really looks like Keanu but grimacing.. as far as stunt doubles go i think they did a good job, they look very similar in body and face. I can't complain.

The double in Reloaded was better looking, the angle in shot. I didn't really notice any of it till I downloaded the copies.

Grant it won't ruin the movie for me, but I don't like the angle of him when the hobo smacks him into the wall.

I like how you first come in and act superior like this should be discussed in another thread(since there is a limit to the amount of threads[?]) and then you post on it.

the worst bit is that they make a big deal of the actors doing their own stunts.

Hey, Fanible has an entire thread about how good he is. I think you should reconsider.

Ok, since Dgeo wants there to be beef between us, not sure why, but he wants it.

I first commented that there didn't need to be an entire thread based on this particular thing. Which it doesn't. There's many threads regarding the trailer, and thats where the comment belongs.

But as people post on it, I still read it regardless to see what people have said. And now ive commented on other people's comments. Someone pointed out the stunt double in Reloaded looked bad too, and I pointed out I didn't notice it as much, but this stunt double is really noticible.

How was saying there doesn't need to be an entire thread based on this little thing acting superior? Because ive posted on this Matrix board the longest, somehow when I say it im trying to act superior? But anyone else could of said it and no one would of given it a second thought. The same thing has happened when ive mentioned there not being much moderation in this board, I get flamed that im supposedly trying to become a moderator. Yet other people have made the same comment.

It's just kinda laughable.

They still have time to touch up all the little things they missed.

Hell, we got Tv-spots a couple weeks ago with incomplete shots!

Fanible never acts arrogant or superior on the boards. He's just the type of guy who quotes himself in his sig.

ehhh boy...... This forum is more entertaining with it's "drama" than with anything that has to deal with the films. It's either forum etiquette, new people..newbies...noobs..or whatever lameass abbreviations one has for us, or let's see oh yeah asinine insults as is any of you people in anyway have a grasp of you all are talking to. Everyone on here I'm sure would be cool to hang out with, but on this forum you only get a glimps of their personallity....i cant beleive im evenwritinganyofthisb.s.
