Favorite Passage from Book???

I was just thinking about puting my favorite LOTR quote or passage as my signature, but couldnt decide on my favorite one. I was just wondering, what is your favorite quote or passage from the books, that sticks with you or you found very interesting or intense. There are some great ones out there.......

hard to choose one. i do like the bit that Phillipa Boyens pointed out in the preview of ROTK about Sam. "His will was set, and only death would break it."

that was a cool line. there were heaps of other cool one that i liked, but i can't remember then now

LOTR has a book. SW was not based on a book published 50 years earlier. neither was terminator. come to think of it, when was another movie able to fit in this category?

From the top of my head (yeah, I know, Im that sad to know that with out a book handy ^_^)
But theres lots of passages that I really love, most of what the Hobbits come up with crack me up still and I love most of what happens between Gimli and legolas.

My signature is one. My absolute favorite quote is from FOTR, book and movie:

And PsykOoOoOo is right yet again--the whole book is full of my fav quotes! I mean, I have favorite chapters! ROTK is my favorite volume! What can I say?
