When do u think this movie will be coming out and what do u think about this movie?

It's coming out July 2004. I think it will be very good. The Prisoner of Azkaban is the best of the first three books, and I believe Cuaron will work wonders on the franchise.

It will be excellent, I just hope that it will have a bigger box office than the first two (at least HP 2) then the series will definitely continue

why? well three reasons:
1) No uniforms/public-school feel. Yes I know the americans don't really understand that, and the idea is designed to appeal to them, but to be honest, the books and the first two films all make a point of detailing the uniforms and heritage of the school - it's supposed to be like Eton for wizards, not grange hill, or some community college. So, straight off you have no ties to the films or books. Hogwart's is English, the books are english, get over it.

2) Dumbledore is being portrayed as an old hippy. The man is the most powerful wizard alive and the only person Voldemort is scared of, but now they are making him into somme Grateful Dead concert veteran in case the american market doesn't understand the idea - typical of a US-led family film - make all the adults into jokes and let the kids do what they like. The reason the first two worked so well is that the adults weren't idiotic stooges, so there was an element of challenge for the kids to get away with anything.

3) the director. Sorry, his first film was not great, so they give himm the biggest movie franchise this side of star wars? I don't know what genius thought that up, but it'll do the same to harry potter as switching from Tim Burton to Joel Schumacher did to batman - the series will die on its' ass - at the very best the rest of the films will be awful, at worst they won't make them.

Even Mr Schumacher didnn't relocate batman to hawaii, or make him wear a tracksuit instead of the batsuit - but this director seems to have a) not read the books and b) have any intention of sticking to the continuity - suddenly hogwarts has no uniform, dumbledore's a hippy, what next? Snape in reeboks? How about we just do away with the magic and make Harry Potter and The Godawful Sequel - we could get John Hughes to direct....

I thought it some parts of the book...they leave the common room in normal clothes...

The no uniforms thing isnt really no uniforms. Its no unifors after classes have ended. Im not sure about that change, but i still think the film will be good

The movie looks good, I like the pictures in it, and all that it has going for it. I love the pic of Hermione holding the wand up to Draco's face...I think the child actors will be doing much better now...it almost feels as though, with the clothes being normal now, and all these other changes, it feels like Tim Burton kinda took a classic for a ride...I think it will be very interesting and very well done....and I will see and support it, but I don't like the director. If you read the Newsweek article at all, he has similarities between Voldermort being a mix between Saddam Huseiin and Bush, saying that they both have an abuse of power and that they have selfish interests....im sorry, but WTF man!!!! Are you stoned? Look, I'm a republican, so shoot me, big deal, but you just don't say that kind of things about people....hell, i could go on and say a hundred things about Davis, but people would just go, NOOOO its Bush's fault...save for the fact that Bush wasn't even in office yet when Davis started to screw everything up. Even if I were a democrat, those comments are just wrong...Bush, while maybe a flawed man who makes mistakes, is in fact that...a man. A human. I apoligize for bringing my political thoughts onto this site, but this dude needs to lighten up a bit and realize that Bush isn't a bad man...he's just a man who might make mistaks, of which I can't see many of...and another thing...if this dude finds so many things wrong with how our country works, then why doesnt he just head back to his own damn country? Anyways, those are my thoughts..ignore them if you wish, applaud them if you like, and if you've got thoughts that oppose mine, that's cool. We're humans, we have our own opinions about the world.

That's a waste, I liked the fact that every1 wore the same clothes...anyway I dunno if HP3 is going to be good...I will go and see it ofcourse, but that's only because I love the books...I was never really fond of the movies...

Harry Potter 3 will probably not out gross the first one and the franshise won't die they have started work on the script for the fouth one and the fifth is planed for 2007.

It's going to be okay, kinda like COS. I just hope they don't make it as sappy as COS and less kid oriented. I want to be freaked out when I see the dementors. And this thread should be in the HP forum.
