My Internet Security program's personal firewall just deflected a Backdoor\Sub Seven Trojan horse attack.
Nothing unusual, but the attack was traced back to Israel?!? After blocking the IP and the net number IP range, I sat dumbfounded. Who the hell in Israel would want anything on MY computer? here's the lowdown: Internet number- 80.178.0.0 to 80.179.255.255 Net name-IL-GOLDENLINES 20020705 Provider Local Registry Golden Lines International Communication Admin info: Israel DR5299-RIPE IP-80.179.174.72 Something new every day, huh folks?!? |

Well what worries me is that a virus was attached-something called the "R" program. The program couldn't identify the particular specifics, of the virus, but given the area of the attack, and the political situation, and the fact that the US is always blamed for it, it seems far beyond a normal attack, esp. when a virus is attached.
Just trying to do my bit to make others aware, even though it may be going a bit far. I've learned in my life that you never assume that there are no alterior motives, even behind the smallest of things.. |

And just to let you guys know if you get attacked with a program called the "R" program. Weird stuff, huh? |

Who knows? I guess most people hack because they have no friends and they're bored. Or maybe they're miserable because mommy didn't hold them enough, so they want to make someone else suffer. Probably too much of a sissy boy to do something to someone face to face. If you ask me, anyone caught hacking someone else's computer ought to face a ten year minimum sentence in prison and forced to use a computer wth no internet connection.
I'm glad they didn't get through on you Snake. That's a good lesson for everyone. Keep your guard up. |
