Default Best 16bit games.

What were the best games releassed on the old 16bit (megadrive and Snes/super famicom sytems) and the 8bit consoles (master system and nes/famicon) etc.

I liked
on the snes
smash tv
super mario bros etc
cannon fodder

on the megadrive
sonic
streets of rage etc

on the nes
super mario bros

and many others

Outrun and afterburner forgot about them - I liked them to and "Super Hang on"

also liked some of the turtles platformers but there was alot of them.

What was so good about altered beast - out of interest.

It was pretty badass collecting the orb things to turn into the wolves was cool...
