You'd think there would be a store on every corner after Career Opportunities was released.

Wasn't there a extended/director's cut edition coming... Or am I wrong and I should just buy this Blu-ray...

If you could head to Target before Saturday, I say go for it. The deal they have is just way too good to pass up.

I just got the regular Blu Ray/DVD combo pack at Target, with the 90-minute extra disc. Not even bothering with the pack that has, like, 4 copies of the film.

And I never completely understood people who hold out for these dvd versions with 18 hours of bonus material. Deleted scenes or director's cuts I completely understand but otherwise you're really going to watch the movie with commentary by the assistant editor and a behind the scenes featurette on the making of the trailer and tv spot? I'll keep the extra $8 and get a single disc version. |

i like the special edition of some movies with lots of commentaries, but I often can just play them while I focus on something else and just listen to all the beyind the scene comments.

You bought 3 copies: Blu-Ray, DVD, & Digital. So, don't feel superior.

Do you even have a 3-D TV, though?

If the 3D version isn't too much cheaper I will just get it anyways, just so I can show off the 3D tv every once in a while. Though Avatar is the only movie I bother watching on it in 3D. The Avengers 3D was like 12 bucks more however. |

Well, the higher end plasmas are pretty much all 3D tvs. Id imagine most people don't buy their tv's FOR the 3D, but a lot would have them. I have a 3D tV, just because the TV i wanted happened to also have 3D.

Johnathan Nolan speaks about Avengers
Speaking of supergroups, did you see Avengers? I did. To me Joss Whedon is a god, I’m just a huge fan of his work, I love his work on TV. And I thought The Avengers was just an incredible achievement.'' http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=98095 ----------------------------- So much for competition... It seems like there was no hate between the 2 camps.

Typically that sort of thing only exists among the fans. Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder liked each other.

I was watching this again the other day and something occurred to me. I'm pretty sure that Black Panther must have been in an early draft of this screenplay.
Dr. Selvic needs a special rare metal which is only found in meteorites that crash to Earth in order to stabilize his portal. In the final draft we saw, the name of the metal was iridium and is stolen by Hawkeye from a museum (?) in Hamburg, Germany. I can't help but think that originally this scene was meant to take place in Wakanda, with Hawkeye stealing some vibranium (which is only found in Wakanda). Instead of Captain America showing up to lay a beat down on Loki, I suspect it would have been Black Panther, with Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow turning up to join him in a SHIELD Quinjet. Thoughts? |
