Actually, they didn't show that much, trust me. They showed nothing from the second half of the book, which is going to be insane.

Yeah, it's a little early to start showing off the big action set-pieces.

I think it looks kinda sharp, definitely better camera work then the first already from the preview and I pray they dont show too much this time, I always thought of her having to go back into the games would make for a cool twist for the people who hadnt read the books.

I agree it looks sharper. Francis Lawrence is keeping the same aesthetic as the original but eliminating all the handheld stuff. At least it seems that way.

This is the one where we find out that Philip-Seymour Hoffman is really Jennifer Lawrence's father.

Aha, and there's the twist!

That's why he wants her dead. If the President finds out who she really is, he'll have Hoffman killed.

Didn't really care for the Hunger Games - characters made too many dumb ass decisions at critical times. I was really hoping the Predator just came down and wiped them out.

Never read the books. Although, one of my co-workers is the reason I saw the first one in theaters. She gave me some backstory going in and you know what? It wasn't half bad. I've learned that sometimes the difference between a bad movie and and a "good enough" movie depends on whether or not Woody Harrelson is in the cast listing. Easily, my favorite character and I could watch Jennifer Lawrence do laundry. I was amused by how far they went with the rating (kid deaths) but like I said...I could watch Jennifer Lawrence do laundry so either way I got my money's worth. Oh right, they have another based on the second book. Let's see...um...yeah it was a good trailer considering what they showed and decided not to show. I might catch this one in theaters too.

Well at least now we know that if 'Wednesday Night Is Laundry Night!' ever gets green-lit it means Heisenberg has become a movie producer.

I'm actually mildly intrigued. Never read the books but it looks like its universe is evolving, which is good.

This was easily my favorite book in the series, so yeah, I'm very excited for this. Probably my most anticipated of the year.
