I do have a bone to pick with you in regards to Lincoln. You guys both called it boring, but good. But isn't being boring the cardinal sin of a movie? Yet that's a moot point, since your both wrong about it being boring.

Okay, but for arguments sake, fine, you found it boring. But yet you then go on in your top 5 lists to recommend such snoozefests as Walk the Line, Cinderella Man, and Kings speech. Explain yourself!
Neither Walk the Line or The Kings Speech are boring movies. The other movies I've not seen.

Okay, King's Speech is actually pretty enjoyable. I
ll give you that. Walk the Line is textbook biopic humdrum however.

I was interested in the story, didn't know much about Johnny Cash beforehand. I do worry a second viewing wouldn't hold up. I think I only had it as an honorable mention anyway. My top 5 was...

1. Raging Bull
2. Donnie Brasco
3. Cinderella Man
4. The Aviator
5. The Last King of Scotland

We're doing a summer box office draft next episode. Winner is whoever drafts the highest earning movies (minus the budget x2) plus gets the best reviews (multiply by rotten tomatoes score). Should be fun.

Episode 14 - The Impossible, Summer Box Office Draft

http://theredboxreport.podbean.com/2013/04/26/14-the-impossible-summer-box-office-draft/

My wife was a guest in this episode. Unfortunately our mic basically died so the audio quality sucks in spots but we figured its better to release something than to half heartedly rerecord or delete it. The box office draft was a lot of fun.

Episode 16 of The Redbox Report is packed. We review Jack Reacher and go over our top 5 Tom Cruise movies. We also cover a little of the Maryland Film Festival and update the Summer Box Office competition.

Listened to the Hobbit episode. Your b-in-law said Harry potter wasn't fantasy?! How do you even defend a statement like that?
